Hello? I am posting this out of the blue and it’s another strange AU. This is basically a feel-good fic, mostly fluff and semi-crack. I know I’ve got another story but writing this helps me with my writer’s block so I want to share it with you. This is supposed to be a one-shot but the word count got way out of line lol. Let me know if you find this interesting and I will continue writing. Don’t worry, I have outlined the entire race already so I know where this is going.

Here are some The Amazing Race terms that will keep appearing throughout the story:

Leg - a section of the race in one city or country.

Pit stop - is a finish line of an individual leg of the race where a team may be eliminated.

Route markers - are the yellow-red TAR flags that mark the places where teams must go.

Route info - a route marker or task that explains where to go and/or what to do.

Detour - a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons.

Roadblock - a task that only one person from each team may perform.

Express Pass - a pass that allows a team to skip a task of their choosing.

U-Turn - an advantage to force another team to also complete the other Detour option they did not originally choose.
