Taehyung sighed as he sat down.

He has just finished his third class today and it’s time for lunch but he doesn’t have an appetite..

 

Or maybe he’s feeling too anxious.. and nervous.. and.. really embarrassed..

 

How could he run away after kissing her on her cheek last night?

Didn’t he say he wanted to be brave? 

That was so cowardly!

 

And he hasn’t seen Jisoo yet from this morning..

She seemed to have gone away from home earlier..

And she doesn’t have history class today..

 

Wait.. he shouldn’t be sitting down like this..

He should look for her.. he should find her..

But.. how?

 

Somi.

 

Luckily, he saw her sitting on the bench as soon as he went out of the room.

 

“Jisoo?” 

 

Somi pointed behind her.

 

“I think she’s studying there..”

 

Taehyung looked behind her.

Isn’t that the place where he found her the other time? Does she usually go there?

 

“Thank you..” he said bowing his head before going to find Jisoo.

 

Somi chuckled.

 

“It seems like someone is crazy about someone..”

 

Then she saw Jisoo passing by.

 

Oh no.. Jisoo wasn’t there?

Then.. did she give the wrong info?

She must be crazy..

 

Meanwhile, Jisoo was walking towards the place where she usually studies after buying some gimbap to eat.

 

She would have wanted to eat at the canteen but she heard Tzuyu and Mina talking about Professor Kim and his “mysterious girlfriend..”

 

Yes.. she overheard them talking about what happened last night..

 

Luckily they couldn’t see her face, otherwise they would bombard her with questions!!!

Or maybe they would really throw some bombs at her!

 

She sighed just imagining the situation.

 

Then she found herself touching her cheek with a hand.

Professor Kim.. kissed her there..

 

She bit her lower lip as she remembered how it went..

She could still feel his wet lips on her skin..

 

She put a hand on her chest and felt her heart beating fast..

What is this? Why is it acting strange?

And why does it feel so hot whenever she thinks about him?

Does she need to get checked? There must be something wrong with her these days..

 

She shook her head to shake it off her mind..

She should focus on other things..

 

But she saw him..

 

The person she wanted to avoid seeing today..

 

Professor Kim..

 

“You came just now?” asked Taehyung as he approached her slowly.

 

He was about to go back but thankfully, he found her..

 

Jisoo took a deep breath.

Was he looking for her? Why? 

 

“Did you.. come to see me because of what happened last night?” she asked as she went to sit.

 

Taehyung seemed startled at her boldness.

 

He sat beside her.

 

What should he tell her? How should he start? 

 

But he hasn’t even said a word when Jisoo spoke again..

 

“It’s fine.. you did it because you were drunk.. you shouldn’t think about it..” she said trying to act cool.

 

She must be a great liar.. 

He shouldn’t think about it? When she herself can’t stop thinking about it either?

Well.. it was only a kiss on her cheek.. fine! But still.. that’s her first!

 

“Is it?” asked Taehyung uneasy. 

 

He couldn’t stay still since last night yet she was fine with it?

Then.. fine.. if she’s fine then he’s fine..

 

But why does he seem forced to say it’s fine? 

 

He straightened his back as he tried to organize his thoughts.

Then Jisoo handed him a roll of gimbap..

 

“Take this..” she said as she ate hers.

 

Taehyung looked confused.

She’s giving him gimbap all of a sudden?

Is she telling him to shut up and eat it? 

 

“Thanks..” he said as he grabbed it with both hands.

 

“It’s not for free..” said Jisoo turning to him.

 

Taehyung seemed startled.

How stupid of him! Of course he needs to pay her!

 

“You can treat me to a meal next time..” Jisoo continued. “I’m not that picky..”

 

Taehyung glanced at her and their eyes met.

 

He doesn’t know how long they were looking at each other’s eyes because time seemed to have stopped..

 

Those sparkling eyes again..

She always looks at him with those eyes that keep him drawn to her..

 

He was taking his time looking at her when Jisoo looked away from him.

 

“Forget it.. I’m not forcing you..” she said pouting.

 

She wasn’t asking him to treat her to a fancy restaurant.. why isn’t he saying anything?

He can just buy her a burger and she’ll be happy already..

She didn’t know he was this stingy..

 

She was still sulking when Taehyung asked..

 

“How about.. we go to the library on Saturday morning.. and then have lunch together?”

 

Jisoo’s cheeks must have turned red.

Just.. the two of them? 

Well.. it has always been the two of them together up until now so what is she even thinking of?

 

But then she remembered she had to work that morning..

 

“Ahh.. you have work.. I see..” said Taehyung who seemed disappointed.

 

Jisoo held her gimbap tightly.

 

“What if.. we have lunch together after my work?” she asked nervously. “And then we can go to the library next time since I’m visiting my mom at the hospital in the afternoon..”

 

Taehyung raised his head and suddenly looked bright again.

 

“How about I come to the hospital with you and we visit your mom together?” he asked smiling.

 

Jisoo raised her eyebrows together.

He wants to come to the hospital? Is he sick? That’s a hospital.. it isn’t like she’s going to play there..

 

“You just agreed.. okay?” Taehyung continued.

 

Jisoo still looked confused. 

Did she agree? How? When?

 

Then she saw him standing up.

 

“I need to go and prepare for my next class.. I’ll enjoy this gimbap.. thanks again..” he said smiling wide at her.

 

Jisoo felt it again.

That hot feeling inside her chest..

Whenever he looks at her.. whenever he smiles at her..

It happens..

 

“I’ll send you the time and the place tonight..” said Taehyung leaving as fast as he could.

 

His heart is bursting.. 

Why is he so happy?

It isn’t like he asked her to go on a date..

Oh wait.. is that considered a date?

Well.. he doesn’t know because he has never gone to one..

All he had was blind dates that were organized by RM hyung or Jungkook..

Whatever.. he will have to figure it out on Saturday!

And that day finally came..

 

Of all days.. Jisoo had to work like crazy! Why are there so many customers at the convenience store during Saturday noon?

It’s killing her!

She was supposed to get off work at 12 but she had to work an extra hour!

Now.. how is she supposed to go home and change clothes when she has to meet Professor Kim in 15 minutes?

 

She is only wearing a plain white shirt and jeans as usual.. 

She’s carrying her old backpack.. 

and she looks like a total mess!

 

She sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror of a shop where she was passing by..

 

She looks ugly in any angle.. she can’t believe she is going to have lunch outside while looking like this..

 

She took a deep breath as she went towards their meeting place.

 

She stopped on her feet as soon as she saw him.

 

Professor Kim looks like a beautiful painting by just standing there..

She felt even more embarrassed..

Should she just call him and tell him she can’t come?

What could be a good reason? A headache? Stomachache?

 

And while she was still busy trying to come up with an excuse, Taehyung had already seen her.

 

“You came..” he said running to her right away.

 

Jisoo bowed her head a little.

He even smells good while she smells like food even though they haven’t eaten anything yet.

 

“Let’s go..” said Taehyung as he lead the way.
