‘Where do correct ideas come from? Do they drop from the skies? No. Are they innate in the mind? No. They come from social practice, and from it alone.’
Those were the words Commander Myoui lived by, so surely, escaping war councils to catch lunch with Medical Officer IV Minatozaki was, in Bongs’ words … “a suicide mission that is totally not worth the headache from Park, if you’d live long enough to return to the headquarters.”

Political undertones. Mentions of a failing healthcare system. But really, a story of a reckless soldier smitten with a medical prodigy. Also, a small pinch of undying loyalty.
experimented on another take on mina and sana's characters, plus toyed around with a variety of themes that keep floating in my mind. wrote this out with the last line as the prompt. it was fun, and i took longer with this one because i suddenly got caught up with real life. unbeta'd, as always.
