“… min.”

I stirred a little before pulling my favorite blanket over my head.

“… ke up, my little, lazy girl.”

The sudden absence of warmth around my feet a second later made me shiver.

“Ouch!” someone groaned. “That hurt!”

I pulled my fist back under the blanket with a smirk tugging at my lips. No one messes with me in the morning.

“WAKE UP, HYEOMIN!!!”

I jolted up in no time, my right ear suffering from a painful ringing. While still collecting each after another of my scattered lives, I finally found the culprit who had just ruined my peaceful morning.

“Can’t you wake me up with a more pleasant way?” I grumbled.

“Hey, I’ve tried,” he defended himself, “but look what you’ve done. I nearly got a black eye here.”

I snickered before yawning. Even him having a black eye would put Justin Bieber to shame.

“What time is it?” I asked while rubbing my sleepy eyes.

“Ten to seven.”

A short reply but was enough to pull me back to reality in a breath.

I moaned in frustration. “Why didn’t you wake me earlier??”

Not wasting more time to hear a reply from him, I jumped down from bed and rushed toward my bathroom.

Locked.

Locked!

How was that even possible?!

“Why is it locked?” I questioned myself. The door stayed shut even when I had banged it for several times.

My forehead creased into a frown when I caught the faint sound of splashing water from the bathroom. I looked back to my bed. He was still sitting there, a big smile plastered on his face. I stared at the door in front of me again.

If that was him, then this must be—

“Youngmin!! Get your yellow head out of my bathroom! I’m running late!” I yelled and continued banging my fist on the door.

“Don’t waste your breath. You know exactly how long it takes for him to take a shower.”

I shot imaginary daggers at him with my eyes.

“What is wrong with your bathroom??”

“Broken,” he replied calmly. “The door can’t be opened.”

I examined him from head to toe. There was no way he could already be in his uniform if their bathroom door had really been broken. Something fishy was definitely going on.

My eyes turned into slits before they went wide as saucers.

“Not again!” I gasped then took a run out of my bedroom.

“Youngmin, she’s fleeing!”

I almost reached the door when my feet suddenly couldn’t feel the floor. I shrieked as a pair of slender but strong hands grabbed my waist from behind and held me up against their body.

“Let me go, Youngmin!” I protested, trashing wildly in his steely embrace.

“No way,” he refused before shifting me into a one-hand hug and threw his other hand to clamp my mouth. “Kwangmin, tell Dad to go ahead. Today is our turn to go to school with Hyeomin~”

Kwangmin gave a small nod before running down the stairs in a flash while I was still struggling to break free from Youngmin. I knew it would be useless as always but giving a try is way more honorable than giving up without trying.

“Done?” asked Youngmin when Kwangmin reappeared in front of us.

He glanced at me and I shook my head in desperation. I breathed in relief as I saw him smile softly.

Yes. You’ve always been my favorite twin, Kwangmin. Stay that way. I swear I’m gonna shower you with—

“Aye aye, Sir~”

—MY FULL WRATH, YOU TRAITOR!!!!!

No! I don’t wanna go to school with them! NOOOOO!!

“So, Hyeomin,” whispered Youngmin in my ear, “prepare yourself because we are going to school together~”

ARRGH!
