“You’re joking right.” my sister Alice said 

“If what you told us is true, then how are you sure that she is your child. Have you conducted a DNA test you never know if she slept with someone before or after she meet you?” My dad said which made me mad 

I know for a fact that in that week Suzy never slept with anyone else but me, she never had time to see her other friends in Paris the only person she would give her time to was me. My dad saying that about her when he doesn’t know her at all makes me furious. 

“I don’t need a DNA test to tell me that Jang-Mi is my daughter, I believe Suzy that she is my daughter you guys will see once they get here. As for the matter, Suzy only slept with me during that time she was always with me, and I would like if you respect her dad she is the mother of my child and the mother of your first granddaughter whether you like it or not.” I said 

“Jennie what do you think of all of this. Your girlfriend of 5 years is willing to fight for Jang-Mi who is still not confirmed of being hers. Would you take care of a child who is not yours” Alice asked her seriously 

“Alice that’s enough, they should talk about this in private.” my dad said 

But Alice is right is Jennie really okay with me being a parent to Jang-Mi, before coming here she did say she was afraid, was she afraid of losing me.?

“That’s okay Mr.Park, and yes Alice I would let chaeyoung fight for her daughter she has the right to I only meet Jang-Mi once she was the nicest and respectful child I have ever seen she has the same mannerism as Chaeyoung.” She said it made me happy knowing she wasn’t mad about it 

“Okay then well talk more about this with your mother, once Ms.Suzy gets here well start with this meeting.” my dad said 

5 minutes later we heard a knock on the door, I knew straight away that it was Suzy with Jang-Mi. Waiting for my daughter to enter felt like an eternity once she came into view my heart started jumping. 

She was being carried by her mother, her face was on the crook of the neck of her mother so it was hard to see her face. But just knowing that for the second time I’m about to see my daughter again made me happy and sad. 

“I’m sorry we’re late Jang-Mi didn’t want to get down, I had to carry her… Ah yes Um, I’m Bae Suzy nice to meet you all and this is Jang-Mi… Honey look who’s here say Hi.” I heard her say to our daughter with the softest voice 

Once Jang-Mi got down everybody was looking at her, My dad and sister gasped once they saw her, I bet they are now sure that Jang-Mi is my daughter. I was lost looking at them that I didn’t realize that Jang-Mi was running towards me. 

I felt her small hands wrapped around my legs, I looked down and she was looking at me with loving eyes. It made me happy that my daughter knew who I was, at this moment it didn’t matter if she knew me as her favorite singer I was happy knowing my daughter grew up knowing my voice. 

I picked her up and gave her the biggest hug and lots of kisses on her cheek she didn’t even complain, knowing a little about her she was probably just happy that her singer was greeting her like this. I didn’t care that everyone was watching us all I cared at this moment was my daughter. 

Once I had put down Jang-Mi she introduced herself 

“Hi, I'm Jang-Mi and I am five years old.” She said bowing 15 degrees showing respect to her elders 

“Hello, Jang-Mi what a pretty name my name is Alice nice to meet the both of you.” 

“Hello I am Jung Park, but you can call me Haraboji if you’ll like and it’s nice to meet the both of you.” I heard my dad said 

Jang-Mi looked shocked she just smile and nodded to him which made my dad smile and laugh 

“Okay since Mrs.Bae is here why don’t we start the meeting, would you mind if we take Jang-Mi out of the room she’ll be with one of my trusted secretaries.?” my dad said 

“No that’s fine… Jang-Mi baby you’ll be right next door this meeting won’t take long and after I can take you to get ice cream okay.” Suzy said which got her a nod from Jang-Mi 

“Okay now that she can’t hear any of this Mrs.Bae do you know why you are here.?” My dad asked her 

“You may call me Suzy and I have an idea of why I am here. Where here to discuss about my daughter aren’t we,” she said turning her face to me 

“I, yes we are you know since she is also my daughter,” I said 

“We’ll to make this meeting short we will get to the point, My client here wants child joint custody of Jang-Mi now what this means is sharing Jang-Mi she’ll have a relationship with both of her parents meaning you both. Now if you don’t agree my client here is going to fight for sole custody.” My dad said

“So if I don’t agree you are going to take away my daughter noted,” she said 

“Well, this wouldn’t have happened if you told me about her, we wouldn’t be stuck in this situation,” I said 

“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you but I had my reasons to do what I did. But now I am here to fix the mistakes I made.” She said 

“Since you both are on the same page, I suggest that you both share joint custody of Jang-Mi. Jang-Mi will spend time with Chaeyoung and also have some days where she stays over with her so the child gets to know the parent better.” My dad said carefully to the both of us 

“Now in order to give Chaeyoung joint custody DNA proof has to be shown that Jang-Mi is her biological daughter without that proof you Chaeyoung can’t have any parental rights. Ms.Suzy, you won’t be opposed to Jang-Mi getting a DNA test would you.” 

“I don’t need a DNA test to prove that she is my daughter, but if I need it to be able to see my daughter I will do it,” I said 

“No Mr.Park I won’t oppose my daughter getting a DNA test done. I would like it if it is done by tomorrow I’m going to be busy the whole week, and I was wondering how long would this process take.?” Suzy said 

“Since you guys are on the same page I can get a judge to process everything in less than a month.” My dad told her 

“That’s fine I would like to keep this case out of the media, I would like to be the one to inform my family first.” 

I wonder If her husband knows that Jang-Mi isn’t his daughter, did he marry Suzy knowing she was carrying another person’s baby. Did he ever hurt them in any way and does he respect my daughter because if I find out he ever laid a hand on her or Suzy I would not hesitate to take them away from him.

“Mr.Park when would I be able to have a day with my daughter.?” I asked my dad 

“If Ms.Suzy allows it you can start after this meeting is over.” He told me 

“I am fine with you having time with Jang-Mi, if you’ll like you could take her tomorrow after we are done with the test,” she told me 

“I would like that Thank You,” I said to her 

“Well know that you both are on the same page this meeting is over, I am going to process these papers to the court you guys can leave anytime I’ll be bringing Jang-Mi back.”  My dad said a little too excited 

“Well that went better than expected I thought Ms.Suzy here was going to refuse and tell you to off Chaeyoung.” My sister said picking up her things and walking towards the door 

“Alice she wouldn’t do that would you.?” I asked 

“No, I wouldn’t I would have just left with my daughter.” 

I was about to comment back when we heard a phone ringing I looked and it was Jennie’s phone, she excuses herself to go and answer it, it was just me and Suzy.  I had forgotten that Jennie was here she had stayed quiet during this whole meeting that I had forgotten her presence. 

This was the first time I had forgotten about her and it made me realized that I was a bad girlfriend. I was so focused on getting my daughter that I forgot about My girlfriend’s feelings. 

“I think she doesn’t like me,” Suzy said 

“What no, Jennie is just surprised by the news she’s just scared that I would be disappointed if it turns out Jang-Mi isn’t mine. But don’t worry she doesn’t hate you or Jang-Mi I know she’ll treat Jang-Mi like if she was hers.” I said 

“I can assure
