Just this morning, various media outlets reported on the exclusive drop of a 'YG Family Exclusive.'
The legendary company supposedly confirmed the rumors of planning to debut a new boy group, although the specific date has not been confirmed as of yet.
Rumors of the YG BOYZ started spreading in early 2019 after various male trainee teaser videos were released on the entertainment company's youtube channel showing off their prized roster. After Blackpink's Jennie accidentally mentioned on V-Live about an upcoming trainee project in the works, netizens were quick to call out YG.
Surprisingly after weeks of silence, the CEO confirmed the news with a tweet and video attachment:
" I'm happy to announce to the world that our YG Family is expanding with a new group. BLACKPINK's brother group, BLACKOUT, has been in the works for a few months, and now that the lineup is finally settled, we can move forward towards debut preparations. Here is a first official look. Want more? "
