Description

Seulgi frowns. She tilts her head in confusion. “So, you weren’t following me today?”
“No! I wasn’t!”
“You’re not lying to me, are you?”
“I promise I’m not lying to you, Seulgi-ssi.”
“Then tell me: What were you doing in that bookstore? This is too much of a coincidence for me to believe you.”
Joohyun takes a breath to steady herself at the sudden interrogation. “I was looking for a gift to give to Junmyeon. As an apology for snooping on his private life.”
“An apology?” Seulgi repeats, and Joohyun nods adamantly. Seulgi scoffs. “What about an ‘apology’” she makes air quotations “to me then, for harassing me at work and for making me think I had a freaky stalker for weeks. And this all happened because some rich guy was interested in me!”
