The Story So Far:

Seungri was kidnapped and subjected to an experimental drug personally formulated by Dr. Sunghoon. The drug rendered him amnesiasic - unable to recall his whole past life. He was now living a normal life as a part time vocal instructor in a local vocal academy with his partner, Glory. 

Jiyong, on the other hand, became the Head of the Sechskies Familia after taking it over from his father. After seeing Seungri (but not really, only a person with the same body structure as him) get shot in the head, he became ruthless and gained the infamous title of the Dragon. 

Jiyong still has no clear information on what happened during his separation with Seungri (the attempted , the hallucigenic torture, and Seungri's suspension from the University - the least of their worries, really). 

Jiyong's friends: Youngbae, Daesung, and TOP, immediately went to Germany after they were informed of Hanbin (as the Informant) of his location. Hanbin gave them a ride through a private jet (they didn't bother to ask how he procured it). They were able to merely see the aftermath of Jiyong's encounter with Jiwon.
