________________________________________________ Eunbi walked towards Sojung and pulled her in for a hug. She looked over Sojung’s shoulder and saw Eunha walking out of the cafeteria while wiping her tears with the sleeves of her sweater. Since they were still standing in the middle of the cafeteria, Eunbi led the other girl to sit. She noticed that people, students and some staffs, were looking at them with a judging look in their eyes so Eunbi shot them a death glare. She doesn’t care who they are, they need to mind their own business. They quickly turned back and whispered to themselves. People these days, starting rumors at the first day of school... Eunbi thought as she rolled her eyes. “Sojung,” Eunbi whispered softly to the girl whose head is leaning on her shoulder crying silently, not wanting to gain more attention, “I know you’re not feeling well, but you need to eat,” Sojung sniffed and said with a small voice, “It hurts, Eunbi. She probably thinks I am some kind of monster who doesn’t care about her and broke her heart,” “Don’t say that Sojung, you’re not a monster at all. Not even close to it.” She said and caressed her back in a comforting matter. “She probbaly doesn’t want to see my face, or even a single strand of my hair,” Sojung said weakly. God, Eunbi has never seen Sojung this weak before. Not even the time she opened up to her at the park the first day they met. The girl was normally really happy and full of good vibes. I guess it’s true that the prettiest smile hide the deepest secrets. Screw those made her feel like this, screw her parents... Eunbi thought. “I just want to give her a proper closure,”

Flashback “C’mon, Sojung. Are you gonna give her a call or not?” Sungsoo told his daughter, his voice rising second by second. 16 year old Sojung stood still with her head hung low, clutching her phone tightly to her chest. She was doing her best to keep her tears from falling down like a waterfall. Seeing that his daughter doesn’t have any intention of giving her girlfriend a call, he forced the phone out of Sojung’s hand. “Open it! Open the goddamn phone now!” He shouted, fuming with anger. Still, she didn’t move. “If you don’t, you know what will happen to your Eunha, Sojung.” He said calmly but still threateningly. With that, Sojung’s eyes widened. She knows that her father has a lot of power. Who knows what he will do to Eunha? Or her family? Everyone is afraid of her father, even those who have a higher authority. She looked at her mother, hoping that she will do something to prevent this. But she just looked back at her with apologizing eyes and smiled at her sadly. Her mother, Miyoung, she has always been loving to her. But she too, was afraid of Sungsoo. She doesn’t want her girlfriend’s life to be in danger. So she decided. “I’ll- I’ll do it. I’ll give her a call,” Sojung replied with a frail voice. Sungsoo smiled at her decision and gave her back the phone. And watched as she opened it and dialled Eunha’s number with trembling hands. “E-Eunha.” Sojung’s voice
