Chapter 12
First Love, Last Love||Chapter 12||
"Jeonghan, someone is looking for you outside."
"Customer?" asked Jeonghan.
"I don't think so, I never see him before."
"Okay okay, I'll come out in a minute," Jeonghan replies while fixes his hair and wondering, 'Is it him? No, everyone would recognize him by now.'
As soon as Jeonghan steps into the bar hall, he could see a familiar man, standing near the bar top while looking at his phone, looks a bit tense. He is quite surprised with the visit however he could guess the reason.
"Jisoo," called Jeonghan.
Jisoo immediately lifts up his gaze, "Let's talk outside."
Jisoo walks outside without waiting for the response and Jeonghan instantly follows him.
They stop when they reach a quiet area, a bit away from people pass by. Jisoo turns around and looks straight at Jeonghan's face.
"I can guess why you're here...if you wanna talk about him, I think--” Jeonghan inhales a a short breath and exhales it before he continues, "you better leave."
"You really think you are the only one who is suffering right?" Jisoo replies with a sarcastic tone.
"Jisoo-ya..."
"Do you think it was an easy decision for Mingyu to leave you?"
"I think it's nothing left to discuss," replied Jeonghan.
"Really? Just ask yourself if it is really over," Jisoo pauses before he continues, "I just want you to know Mingyu took two years to stop talking about you when we were in New York, if you think he lived a happy and carefree life there, no! It wasn't! Nothing left for him, family, love, money, friend all gone, and you still have a heart to say he's already dead to you. Yeah I know...maybe it was his fault that he opted for that choice and left you... but I want you to think again, he lost his family's wealth for the sake of you and for your family well-being, he is suffering till now because he loves you so much! And you know what, because you asked him to go away, he will go for real. He doesn't allow me to follow him, he said he won't come back, he also doesn't tell me where he wanna go!" spills Jisoo.
"He can go where ever he wants to go, anytime he wants, that's his choice." Jeonghan tried to be calm.
"Jeonghan!"
"Nothing is left Jisoo! Nothing!!"
Jeonghan turns around, walks back into the bar.
"Don't lie to yourself!" Jisoo shouts, "Jeonghan!!"
Jeonghan heard clearly Jisoo is calling him but he ignores it. As soon as he enters the bar he takes a deep breath before he walks straight to the table of a group of middle aged men at the center of the hall. He smiles to them and reaches for the bottle to pour the drinks for the customers.
'Why are you like this?' Jeonghan asks himself, he tightens his grip on the bottle to control his hand from shaking.
"Jeonghan-ssi, are you sick?"
"No, I'm fine," Jeonghan tries to convince his customer by giving them a smile.
"But your hand's trembling, you're crying too," said another customer.
Jeonghan put back the bottle on the table and immediately wipes his face and stares at his shaking hands.
"Jeonghan-ssi? Are you okay??"
"Err?"
"You're trembling!"
Jeonghan immediately gets up from his seat. "I'm sorry! I–I need to excuse myself, I'm really sorry," he bows to the customers before he leaves them and runs into the washroom. He turns on the water tap and washes his face before he turns it off. The shaking in his hand still there and the tears also keeps on streaming. This feeling is so familiar to him.
'What is it?'
