A girl. (Mongdol) Pt. 1
Running Man oneshotsMonday, 01. 24.
She looked dazed. Looking at something. No, someone. She was looking at someone. Haha eyed her weirdly.
"So Min-a, what are looking at? You look like you're not in this world anymore." She snapped back into reality and looked at Dong Hoon. Not saying anything. Just..., staring. Intensely. It made Haha a bit uncomfortable.
Her expression was unrecognisable. Like she was wearing a mask. Not having any emotion under it. He nudged Kwang Soo. "Kwang Soo, what's up with So Min? She looks," He paused, "lost." Describing her current emotion. Which is not very easy. She looks like a statue, without any soul inside.
"She's been like that for weeks now, I noticed. I'm not sure why she's like that, but it's starting to worry me. She's not like her usual self." Typical Kwang Soo, giving an obvious fact. Rolling his eyes, Haha went back to So Min looking at someone. He tries to look at her direction. But her eyes are messy, hiding in an emotion. He can't decipher where, what, or who she was looking at or her emotion.
Giving up, he focused on the PD explaining the rules for the next game. At least he tried to focus. He can't. He's worried about her. Her well being. You won't notice it if you're not focused on her. Or you just completely forgot about her. She was stone cold. Not saying anything. Not moving. Hell, it looks like she's not even breathing.
He may not be close with her, but she's still his dongsaeng. Even if he wanted to get rid of the thoughts and focus, he wouldn't be able to do so when she's clearly not alright. His whole being isn't okay with that.
He'll talk to her when the filming ends. Maybe he can get some answers from her? He doubted it. But not doubting enough to let it go.
------------------------
They ended the filming a few minutes ago and now So Min was in her car, about to go home. But just before she was about to leave, "So Min!" A shout was heard. Haha ran up to her car. "We need to talk."
And that's how they got here. In a cafe near by. She still holds that poker face. Not changing a single bit. Or maybe her expression DID change, but Haha can't notice it. "Are you okay?" He cut straight to the point.
No response.
"So Min-a, you don't look okay, you're not acting the way you usually are. Please, tell me what's wrong?"
Nothing.
"So Min...."
Any attempt he did to make her talk to him failed.
"Please."
She just looks at the table and did nothing. His patience ran out. Slamming the table, he said, "I'm worried for you goddamit!"
Not even a flinch. He's not sure if she's even alive anymore. She's probably not anyways! He was wasting his time.
Or so he thought. That's when So Min looks at him. She's crying. He felt guilty. Didn't mean to make her cry or anything. He should've been less temperamental with her, she's clearly not in a good state. And here he is getting mad at her just because she won't talk to him.
"Oppa, how did you meet Byul unnie?" She ask very quietly. Haha almost didn't hear it. What does that supposed to mean? It was so sudden and out of nowhere, it took Haha off guard.
"Mwo? Why are you asking that now? It's such a weird time to ask that." Still looking at him, she starts to cry even more. "Why, why, why? Don't cry So Min-a." He walked around the table and sat down next to So Min, side-hugging her. "There, there. Don't cry. It's alright." Even though he knows it's not alright. SHE'S not alright. So Min just sobbed in his shoulder.
Between her hiccups she starts forming words. "It must be nice that you can be with Byul. With the person you love. Live a life with them. All I want is to be like that." Ah, she was heartbroken. That makes sense now. Haha wanted to ask her who this person was. And what's the reason she can't be with him.
He resented it for a while. But he needed to know in order to help her. Hesitatingly, he asked her. "Who's the person So Min-a. Why can't you get the guy? Does he not like you back?" So Min tried not to cry even more. Holding it back with her might.
She shook her head. "That's not the problem." He raised an eyebrow, giving her the sign she should contin
