Before the crowning, it all felt so easy - just appear on a ballroom for a few hours, socialize with the other nobles she knew since they were just a bunch of brats prattling around, and then go off to her room, back to reading and learning. Foreword
WOW this got out of hand FAST
anyway uh notes. tsesarevna is an old russian title for the wife of the crown heir (the tsesarevich), although in the 18th century there was a brief usage of tsesarevna as a title for the czar's daughters. in the end the wifes kept the title, the princesses were named grand duchesses, and any other male children were grand dukes. jackson and yukhei, for example, are grand dukes, while kahei is the tsesarevna bc it looks cooler. their family relation is that yukhei and kahei are siblings, with an unnamed older brother, and jackson is their cousin.
the country they're in is a vague misture of russian royalty and victorian era habits, with them living in an island and the Continent being good old europe. thats it i guess. now dive in
(for round one of the party of destiny fest on ao3!)
