For a moment, her eyes were glazed as her dainty fingers reached for the male’s cold cheek. Project 27 is her creation. But Kim Sunggyu, to her, speaks of warmth, of laughter, of love. He was irreplaceable—to the point that she'd have done anything to chain him up to the world of the living when he could no longer be there.

He was hope, and he was the one thing she could never lose.

Because, she knew, they were already out of time.
