Background: Daewon grew up in Russia during the collapse and after-effects of the USSR. As a child, Daewon spent a lot of time outside with his friends. At the age 10, Daewon and his mother left to South Korea where they reunited with his father. Daewon spent the rest of his middle and high school years in South Korea. He then went back to Russia for a short time to go to college. In college, he studied music and history. Once he graduated, Daewon decided to fly back to South Korea to become an idol. Because of his age, he struggled to find a company that would take him in. Since then he has started a youtube channel where he releases solo music or sometimes collabs.
