This year summer was exceptionally chilly and that was a blessing for me. I hate summer because I would always sweat and I hated the sticky feel. But maybe I felt the chilliness because it was 4am now and I was sitting in an outdoor café wearing only a sleeve shirt and short pants. I sighed. “I should have brought a cardigan or something.” I mumbled.

When I was going to focus on my work again, a black shirt was offered to me. The man who sat at the table beside me apparently heard me and decided to offer me his outer shirt. “Hurry up and take it. My arms are going to fall out.” The man said grumpily. I looked at the mysterious guy with a surprised expression and took the shirt rather unsure. “T-thanks.”

The man was wearing a black bucket hat and black mask that hid his face completely. His skin was exceptionally pale. If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought that he was Suga from BTS. How much I wish it was true. But this man wasn’t him for sure. This mysterious man had a deeper voice.

I draped the shirt around my shoulder because it’s weird to fully wear strange clothes but I didn’t want to offend him too. I noticed one unopened chocolate on my table and decided to give it to him as a token of gratitude.

“What is this?” He asked gruffly. “A thank you gift.” I answered simply and offered him a friendly smile. He nodded and mumbled small thanks. Somehow I couldn’t take my eyes off him. Why did he look so lonely and sad? I wonder.

“Hey.” He called me. “Yes?”
