You're My Love

Main plot slightly based on the drama “Hi, My Sweetheart”, but other than that, no relation what so ever!

Summary:

Yoon Doojoon has it all, good looks, luxury cars, huge mansions, the latest technology, butlers and maids when he needs them and of course an abundance of money coming from his parent's successful business. But he's missing something in his life. Love and Friendship. Deep down in his heart Doojoon is a warm-hearted kind young man. All his life he's dealt with people using him just for his money. He has isolated himself from social contact at school. Often going out to party every night and hitting it up with the girls. Until the summer before his senior year of high school. He decides that this lifestyle needs to change. He transfers from his rich kid private school to the local average high school and gets a new look, ugly haircut, Overbite and thick glasses. Practically unrecognizable from his original handsome self. He is accepted by many students due to his kid heart despite his looks. He continues to enjoy his senior year at high school looking for friends he can trust and even searching for love. Then he meets the feisty, powerful girl Shin Hae Ra. No one ever talks to Hae Ra due to evil vibe she gives off but Doojoon looks past that and tries to get to know her better. Hae Ra is stubborn and sometimes rude but Doojoon doesn't keep that from his kind deeds. Soon the two find themselves falling for each other but run through many obstacles. What will become of their love?

Shin HaeRa (You):

Fluent in English and Korean, Born in the United States to Korean parents but moved to Korea at age 12. Currently 17 (birthday occurs during the story, so 18. haha) Senior at Daewon High School. 21 years old as the story develops. Secretly sweet outside of school but super rude and feisty at school. Only really really liked one person, but it was one-sided. Hates rude men and mean girls. Can be stubborn. Never-give up personality, super tough. Says she hates dressing nicely, but secretly loves to be all dressed up and pretty. Eventually falls in love with the nerdy Doojoon.

Yoon Doojoon (Main)

Super Rich. Doesn't have any true friends except for Junhyung. Super emotional. Smart and Handsome. Tries to be kind to everyone, but everyone just uses him for his riches. 18 years at the start of the story, 22 towards the middle/end. Decides to start a secret double life and trades his handsome looks for a nerdy look. Senior at Daewon High School. Rarely sees his parents who own a large company. Practically lives by himself. Patient. Falls in love with Haera.

Lee Kikwang

Shin Hae Ra's first major major crush who didn't return the feelings, but secretly does like her. Same age as Haera. Went to study in America for a year but came back to finish off his Senior year. Always interrupting Doojoon and Haera's moments. Can be childish sometimes, okay a lot of the time. Tries to win over Haera after rejecting her the first time. Cute & Nerdy. :D
