Revenge is not always sweet„Good afternoon Yongsun-Ssi. How are you?” – Byulyi asked with her soft voice
…
…
…
“Am I dead? Or are you really here? Or am I dreaming?” – Yongsun asked with bewilderment in her eyes
“You are not dead and you are not dreaming either. I am here for real. Do you know what happened before you were taken to the hospital?” – Byulyi
“I can’t seem to remember it clearly, but the better question is why you are here. You said that we should never see each other again. You said goodbye and I begged you to not go. I was desperately begging you to not leave, but you just left and never contacted me again. I hated you for this. My heart was aching the whole time and my mind was not in its right state. Right now I don’t even want to see you. Please go out and leave me alone. I need time to think.” – Yongsun said with her hoarse voice
“I understand. Ehm. Wheein and the others will be right back. They just let me have some time with you alone. I will be going then. Goodbye Yongsun.” – Byulyi voiced out, as she was going out of the room
“WAIT! Will I see you again?” – Yongsun shouted
“If you want to, we could meet up when you get discharged.” – Byulyi said with a smile on her face
“Yes, I want that. I want to see you again. Just don’t leave again. Promise me to never leave again.” – Yongsun said desperately
“I promise that we will meet again. But for now, you should rest. I can sense that you are still very tired and exhausted. Wheein and the others will explain what happened exactly. You have to promise me one thing too. Never hurt yourself again. Just promise me this and we are even.” – Byulyi demanded
“All right. I promise to never hurt myself again.” – Yongsun said as she yawned
“I will let you rest now. Goodbye.” – Byulyi winked with her hand
“Thanks, Byulyi.” – Yongsun whispered
Sometime later Wheein, Hyejin and Joo-Hyun came into the room and welcomed her with flowers, cards and presents.
“How are you Unnie? Do you know what happened to you?” – Wheein asked with her calm voice
“Ehm. I don’t know. I saw Byulyi. She visited me and said that you would explain to me what happened.” – Yongsun said with her cheery voice
The three of them looked at each other with confusion in their eyes. Yongsun noticed it and asked what the matter was.
“We don’t think that you saw Byulyi. It’s impossible because she doesn’t even know, that you were admitted to the hospital. We never contacted her. Maybe you just dreamed about your encounter with her. It probably was just an illusion because you are still exhausted. You should rest and relax even more. We will tell you later what happened to you.” – Hyejin explained
“No, that’s impossible. I asked her if this was a dream or not and she assured me that it was real. That she was really here. In this room, talking to me. I can’t have dreamed it. I am not crazy and I am not tired or exhausted. Why will nobody tell me what happened? Was it really that bad?” – Yongsun asked with anger in her eyes and furrowed brows
The three friends looked at each other and sighed. They knew already that there might be a possibility that Yongsun had forgotten her memories because of the shock. But they were also shocked to hear from Yongsun that she had seen Moon Byulyi. Actually, Byulyi should have been out of the country long ago. The last time they heard about her was three weeks ago and they were told that she was going away for an uncertain time. She did not tell how long she would be gone, but she said she might come back. Wheein and the others did not want to tell Yongsun, or better said Byulyi did not want Yongsun to know she was still in contact with them. After all, she has promised to never see her again. Their friendship was over and so was their relationship. After Byulyis departure, they had no contact with each other. Yongsun has often tried to call Byulyi, but without success, because she has changed her number and started a new life. It was not as if Byulyi did not miss her, but she was not allowed to carry those feelings. She felt guilty for what happened to Yongsuns father. Even though Yong forgave her
