Foreword
See?
Wendy hates being on graveyard shift for one reason and one reason only; the calls coming in always originate from strange people. She is a nice person who goes out of her way to help her colleagues and friends as much as possible but this is the last straw, she swears.
Being a part-time university student and holding a part-time job isn't what one would call ideal, but her life has pretty much been in a mess for some time now. She doesn't hold a grudge against her parents for not saying anything though, because they're willing to give her the freedom to learn from her own mistakes. Following her family's expertise might be a good road, but being a lawyer doesn't really fit Wendy as well it does her cousins. So when her best friend, the bear-looking one with the cutest eyesmile in the world had a recommendation in a resort off Jeju Island, Wendy accepted it with open arms. Her lodging and meals are all provided for despite the less-than-appealing salary. The job allows her to interact with people from all walks of life from different countries in the world and learn more about different individuals - there's literally no negative aspect to this.
Tonight must be strange though, because she received a call that can't be for her... right?
“Good evening, this is Wendy speaking. How may I help you?”
“H-Help me… h-help fix m-my heart…”
...........
What the hell just happened?
............
And the calls kept coming.
“YAH! STOP PLAYING WITH MY HEART, YOU HEAD!”
