“What’s the big emergency?” Chaewon asks as Minjoo opens the door and pulls her into her bedroom. The door has barely closed before Chaewon and Minjoo are sharing an impatient, heated kiss. “This is the big emergency? You needed a kiss?” Chaewon teases her later and she sticks her tongue out at her.
“It’s much worse. Remember when we had to sell a lot of lemonades for Aunt Kim a few weeks ago? I told you we needed to sell 100 because we always have to settle for a hundred if we want to succeed in life, right? Well, the bad news is that I somehow got in to another deal with Auntie but she’ll pay us for our work this time! After all, 210% is better than a hundred! So we actually n–”
“210 freaking cups?! Kim Minjoo, are you serious?”
“We just need a 110 more cups Chae.”
“Babe I can count!”
“You’ll help me sell them right? If I have to do all 110 cups on my own, it’ll take me two years.”
“But I could be out there playing soccer with Yena,” she groans, sinking listlessly onto her study chair.
“I know it isn’t as much fun.” Minjoo says disappointedly (because Minjoo doesn’t whine or plead) and Chaewon sighs loudly and exaggeratedly.
“Just tell me when and what time so I can bring myself an extra chair.”
“Thank you!” She says excitedly
