      A nice cute girl once you get to know her. Unfortunately, she may look cold or distant because when she's not pouting or smiling or laughing, her face is kind of...emotionless. Those who actually get to know her will know that she's a cute optimistic person that likes to keep the atmosphere up and not down. She's always caring and willing to listen to whatever problems her friends have and if you bother her or her friends, she'll ignore you for the first few times before getting you to leave them alone. As long as Daiyu is in a good mood, everything should be ok, although when she's mad, you better watch out for an explosion. Only those very close to her will be able to calm her down.
   

     Daiyu/Dani is half Korean and half Chinese. Her father is Korean while her mother is Chinese. Although her parents were from Asia, she was born in California, in the same neighborhood as f(x)'s Amber, coincidentally. The two eventually met each other, going to the same school and living in the same area, and became best friends. Sometimes they talked in Chinese to each other, but they mostly talked to each other in English. When Amber had auditioned for SM, Daiyu/Dani followed along and was also chosen to be a trainee. She ended up training for longer than Amber, however. While she was training, it was inevitable that she would meet SNSD, and got connected with KARA's Nicole through Hyoyeon. Amber, Daiyu/Dani, Nicole, and Krystal all got along very well since they could all speak English to each other and faced about the same hardships
