So I kinda forgot to post this update, so I'll just do a little bit of flash back.

"Hey" I greeted shyly

"Hi! It's really nice that you're here" Aron said when we entered their waiting area. 

"I hope you don't mind having us here" Jia told the nuest members

"We came bearing gifts" Miru cheerfully said before distributing the snacks for their staffs. 

"You don't have to get us anything" 

"I know jonghyunnie but today is an important day. NU'EST will have their frist win today, I just knew it" Jia said excited

"We're not sure yet if we'll win" 

"You will win today I just knew it"

"Nervous?" I asked minhyun who was seated on the far end of the room. 

"Who wouldn't be nervous?" He answered

"I agree with the unnies, today would be a great day" 

"I'm afraid I'll mess up" 

"You won't mess up and even if you do, no one would care" 

"Will you watch us here?" 

"Ani. I'm going to the crowd during your performance"

"It's dangerous Eun-ah" 

"It's okay, I was a LOVE first before I became your girlfriend. I think I actually know your fans better than you do" 

"Alright, but just be cautious okay? I know our fans love you but I don't want you to get hurt" 

"I promise I'll be careful." 

"Boys, you're up" 

Minhyun gave me a quick kiss before we both head out. 

"Unnie, you're staying here?" Serin asked

"ne" I answered while fixing my beautiful light stick

"I thought you'll just wait at the back? Minhyun oppa is a little bit protective" She said laughing

"Yeah, but I told him I am LOVE first before anything else" 

The lights dimmed before we heard the intro for NU'EST's latest comeback. 

The fanchants were so loud and I can feel myself bursting into tears. From my side, I can see some fans with tears in their eyes. 

One and a half year may not be that long but for LOVEs who waited without any assurance that he would be back, it felt like eternity.

I honestly can't speak for the others but seeing all of them together again on a music show, really really warms my heart. 

When the number one annoucement came, LOVEs beside me started holding each other hands. It would be a really tough battle, NU'EST is against BTS this week. That's also one of the reasons why the oppas are telling me earlier not to really raise our hopes. I mean it's BTS were talking about. Their popularity in korea is no joke. 

"This week's number one belongs to... NU'EST!" The moment we heard the announcement, the confettis started falling. The boys were visibly shocked while all of us were jumping from our seats in excitement. 

NU'EST W had their win prior to this one and Minhyun won lots of music show number ones when he was with wanna one but this one was different and we all knew it. 

They were all holding back their tears as they were giving their number one speech. Jonghyun of course, didn't forget to thank their wonderful LOVEs who never failed in supporting them especially during this comeback. 

empressmieun: Please tell me how to stop myself from crying. Aronnie, Jrie, Baekho-ya, Minhyunnie, Ren-ie, you finally did it T.T 

Today would forever be tattooed in my brain and my heart. It took us seven years before we can give you your first win. Thank you for never giving up. #BetBet1stWin

When the show was over, Minhyun went to where I was and hugged me so tight that I could barely breathe. 

"We did it eun-ah, we did it" He said while sobbing a little. 

I wasn't able to reply to him because I was also crying.

All the hard work they did for the past 7 years has finally paid off. They were the idol that took the longest time before they won first place.
