The Gods have ended the battle.

They won.

But they were a little too late.


"Where's Jeongin?" Chan asked through ragged breaths, Jisung turned and looked at the older boy. He was dirty, bloody and his hair was sticking to his forehead because of the sweat, he bets he looks the same. Jisung opened his mouth to answer but the only sound that came out was a sob he didn't know he was holding back.

Chan stood there frozen. The younger boy threw himself into his arms and cried but he couldn't bring himself to comfort him. He was filled with dread, trying to prepare himself for the worse.

"They took him Chan. I was too late! The Gods were too late! I'm sorry" Jisung spoke through his broken sobs. Chan finally wrapped his arms around his friend and with steel resolve in his voice he finally spoke.


"We're going to get him back."
