It is a mystery
Time For ChangeHyesung had invited his friends over to his apartment to spend some alone time. Manse was playing with some toys he had with him, while the adults were sitting close to him on Hyesung’s fancy new couch. They watched the boy have fun on his own, envious that he could be so carefree. Manse didn’t know about his parents’ fight, and it was good that he didn’t.
“Lawyer Kim is very good with Manse,” Chilhyun commented.
“He sure is,” Minwoo smiled, as he watched the short man play with his son. “It’s good that someone is always with him. I feel like a lousy dad…” he bowed his head down.
“You’re not a lousy dad,” Andy put his hand onto the back. “Manse has an amazing life with you.”
Hyesung brought some drinks from the kitchen and placed them in front of the men. “But what if Byunghoon wins?” Minwoo interrogated quietly. He didn’t want lawyer Kim to hear his negative thoughts. “He has a chance.”
“If he wins, then something’s very wrong with our justice system.” Chilhyun murmured as he reached for a glass.
Manse passed a toy to the lawyer, who grabbed it and played with it, making a funny voice to accompany the doll. Minwoo couldn’t stop smiling. “May I ask…?” Hyesung caught his attention. “Are you and Lawyer Kim…?” he moved his hands to motion something.
Minwoo frowned before he understood what Hyesung was trying to say. “Oh god no!” he claimed fast. “He is just a friend.” he continued. “Besides, he works for me. We can’t do that.” Lawyer Kim looked toward them as if he had heard, and then grinned at the short man. “I am not ready to be in love quite yet.” Minwoo drowned his voice once he sipped his drink.
The men turned their heads at the stairs when steps were heard. “Oh, Jinnie, you’re home?” Hyesung asked the younger man. “I thought you were supposed to be at a class.”
“I had an early class,” Junjin responded. “What are you guys doing in here? Aren’t you usually at the restaurant?” he questioned slightly confused. “Hi, Pudding.” he tapped Andy’s head like he was a puppy.
“Hey, Chungjae,” The younger man replied. “Where are you going?”
The look on Junjin’s face was obvious. Andy was setting a trap. Only he knew about Junjin’s secret girlfriend that Hyesung hated. He glared at the man and put his hand onto his shoulder, squeezing it, as he spoke, “I am meeting some friends at a bar.”
Andy growled. “Have fun,” Hyesung answered. “Ah, bring some toilet paper, okay?”
“Wow, you are a big celebrity, but like an average person, you run out of toilet paper too.” the little brother joked, but when Hyesung glowered at him, he raised his hands up and continued, “Fine. I’ll bring toilet paper.” he leaned closer to Andy and murmured, “Bye, Pudding.” then he retreated and shouted, “Bye y’all!”
“Sometimes I wonder how on earth we can be related,” Hyesung commented dryly.

“So, what are you guys going to do?” Chilhyun asked as lawyer Kim was driving him home – Minwoo and Manse seated right next to the man. “I have an appointment at my doctor’s clinic. My cheeks have started to sack a little bit, don’t you think?”
Minwoo didn’t answer, knowing his friend would be devastated – also, in his opinion, Chilhyun never truly needed any aid from Botox. “We are going to talk about…” Minwoo looked at his son and then whispered, “…how we can beat him.”
“Ah, boring,” Chilhyun sang. “When was the last time you had ?” he interrogated. “I mean, you haven’t dated since you and Byunghoon decided to call it off. And you’ve been far too busy with this lawsuit. So, tell me, when was the last time?”
Minwoo glanced at the driver through the rear-view mirror, and then cleared his throat. It was very uncomfortable to talk about this while Manse and lawyer Kim were present. Chilhyun had always been more open with and always talked about it like his life depended on it. He didn’t consider it a taboo or anything. He could always find time for .
“It’s none of your business.” Minwoo responded, blushing a little bit.
“Ah, so it’s been too long.” Chilhyun assumed. “You know, I know people, who would come in a blink of an eye, if I called.” he explained. “What do you say?”
Minwoo was about to say something, anything at all, when lawyer Kim butted in. “Mr. Lee is very occupied with this lawsuit and we really need to think about how we can beat Byunghoon.” he said. Minwoo smiled at him, mouthing his gratitude. “There are other ways to relax and loosen up than….” he added.
“Like what?” Chilhyun spoke back annoyed.
“Oh, we’re at your place,” Lawyer Kim halted in front of the big house. “It was nice giving you a ride, Mr. Ahn.” he waved.
Chilhyun scoffed and turned to the door. “Call me,” he said to Minwoo before he left.
Since Manse had fallen asleep in the car, Minwoo had to carry him upstairs to his apartment. Lawyer Kim followed him as he practically lived with him – as for now. It was strictly business. He was there from morning to night, whenever Minwoo needed him.
“I’m thankful that you…saved me from Chilhyun.” Minwoo whispered at the foyer. “He can be…much at times.” he chuckled.
“Don’t worry about it,” Lawyer Kim grinned, cute wrinkles appearing around his eyes. “I have learned to know your friends by now.”
“I just…wanted you t
