It was almost 12 am when Jin and Jungkook reached their apartment. Taehyung, Jimin, and Hoseok were in the living room playing some video games while Namjoon and Yoongi were sitting at their kitchen aisle discussing some song ideas.

 

“Welcome home guys,” Jimin called out to the duo as they entered their apartment, “How did filming go today?” The entire Bangtan boys looked up upon hearing the door closing and Jimin’s voice. They all crowded around Jin and Jungkook to hear more about their endeavors.

 

Jin saw out of the corner of his eyes how tired Jungkook looked, and decided to move the conversation to the couch where Jungkook could rest. Poor boy, he didn’t get any home cooked meals and didn’t even get to eat any convenience store food. Both of them had eaten lesser during lunch that day with hopes that they can get some home-cooked meal. The moment they landed their asses on the couch, Jungkook immediately leaned onto Jin’s shoulder, and Jin just instinctively wrapped his arms around Jungkook and pulled him closer in. Jungkook breathed in the familiar scent of his boyfriend and let himself be rest against the older’s broad shoulders.

 

Jin conveyed how they walked around until the end of dinnertime trying to find a house that has yet to eat dinner, all the different celebrities they met and how Jin managed to achieve a miracle when a group of girls spotted him and invited him and Kyung-kyu up for dinner. He jokingly blamed their group for being too good and being a distraction to their fan’s education, but also how it can be a motivation. He also told how Jungkook and Ho-dong were 3 minutes late from potentially getting dinner and the fact that he has not eaten until this point in time. The boys just looked at their golden maknae who was cuddling Jin, pitifully before continuing on with whatever they were doing before the couple came home. It was their day off the next day, so they tend to stay up really late and only wake up around noon.

 

However, Jin and Jungkook decided to head to bed as they were rather exhausted from the filming. Jungkook was too tired to even shower before sleeping, but Jin decided to have them shower together knowing that Jungkook would usually grumble in the morning if he woke up and realized he didn’t shower before bed. He’s a hygiene freak, although his bedroom might say otherwise.

 

“Hyung, sleep in my room tonight?” Jungkook mumbled sleepily as Jin washed his hair.

 

“Mmm sure” Jungkook usually preferred to sleep in Jin’s bed, but occasionally on rare occasions, he would ask Jin to sleep in his bed instead. It wasn’t that Jungkook’s room was uncomfortable, it’s just that it had so many pieces of equipment and the bed is a bunk bed isn’t really an ideal layout for them as a couple. After dressing both of them in their pajamas, Jin half carried half dragged Jungkook to the latter’s bedroom. After ensuring the maknae’s safety up to the bed, Jin climbed up and laid in Jungkook’s inviting arms. In front of the camera, Jungkook is seen as a cuddlee, but behind it, he’s a massive cuddler, especially with Jin.

 

“Goodnight love,” Jungkook said sleepily before pulling Jin into a sweet loving kiss.

 

“Goodnight sweetheart. I love you.” Jin smiled

 

“Love you more.” were the last words Jungkook uttered before he passed out asleep. Jin giggled at his boyfriend’s antics and decided to read some manhwa before going to sleep. It was almost 2.30 am when Jin was about to sleep when he heard Jungkook’s tummy grumbled. Jungkook pulled Jin closer and pushed his face into Jin’s neck, mumbling something along the lines of hungry and home cooked food. Jin waited a moment, thinking it would go away, but this continued for about 10 minutes before Jin decided enough was enough.

 

“Baby wake up. What do you want to eat?” Jin tried shaking his boyfriend awake. Jungkook just grumbled, pulling Jin closer to his chest, “Your .” Jin rolled his eyes. His boyfriend is impossible.

 

“Babe I’m serious. I’m not letting you go to sleep while your stomach is growling like a madmen and you’re sleep talking about food.” No response.

 

This called for extreme measures. He pinched both of Jungkook’s s, causing him to yelp up and shooting Jin a dirty look.

 

“It’s almost 3 am hyung, just go to sleep and I can eat in the morning.” Jungkook was actually tempted to ask for food, but he didn’t want to bother his boyfriend. He was really hungry, but he figured that people in less developed countries are probably hungrier than him, so he decided to ignore the hunger.

 

“Fine if you’re not going to eat, I’m going back to my room. I can’t sleep with the noise of your grumbling tummy. Goodnight.” Jin threatened. Jin and Jungkook haven’t slept in separate beds ever since they got together which was like a year ago, apart from when Jin left to film Law of the Jungle. Jin was about to leave the bed when Jungkook’s arms encircled his waist and pulled Jin against his chest.

 

“Don’t go. I’ll eat whatever you prepare, just don’t go.” Jungkook mumbled into Jin’s shoulder before pressing soft kisses from his shoulders all the way to his neck.

 

“Is pork soup rice fine with you?” Jin asked, knowing it’s his boyfriend’s favorite comfort food. Jungkook hummed in agreement before continuing to kiss Jin. He felt so lucky to have such a sweet and caring lover who would willingly cook his favorite food at 3 am. [i want someone like this omg]

 

Jin unwrapped Jungkook’s arms from his waist and headed to the kitchen to start preparing the food. Bless the fact that Jin’s mom gave him some ingredients when he visited a few days ago. Pork soup rice didn’t take too long to prepare, 30 minutes at most so Jungkook decided to sit at the kitchen aisle to accompany Jin as well as browse through his phone (which is usually a routine before sleeping but he was too tired just now). Everyone else had already gone to their respective bedrooms when the couple went to the kitchen.

 

Jin and Jungkook made small talk while Jin is preparing food. Jungkook looks at his lover adoringly before noticing that he’s blushing and telling Jungkook to look at something else. Jin may be confident about his looks, but he definitely can’t get used to his boyfriend admiring him. He doesn’t know why it just gets him rather flustered. Both of them love this part of their relationship, where they can playfully flirt and have the most random of conversations about the weirdest topics they can think of.

 

Soon, Jungkook’s food was ready and the pampered maknae wanted his oldest hyung to feed him.

 

“Aish this kid I swear,” Jin grumbled with no malice in his voice, rather amusement sparkled in his eyes. He loves pampering his dongsaengs, especially the youngest. Jungkook pulled Jin onto his lap and Jin started feeding him.

 

“How is it? Is it good?” Jin asked, monitoring Jungkook’s response.

 

“The best.” Jungkook gave his bunny smile and Jin busted uwus then and there.

 

They continued their small conversations and steal pecks from one another every other spoonful of food.

 

“Hey did you know a girl I met just now during filming has me as her phone wallpaper? I was so embarrassed, like in a good way. I’m flattered they think I’m pretty enough to be their wallpaper.” Jin continued sharing his experience, while Jungkook was lowkey jealous.

 

“You’re my wallpaper too, why aren’t you saying anything about it?” Jungkook called out.

 

Jin hesitated. Then a smirk appeared. “Are you jealous, bun?”

 

“No.”

 

“Uh huh yeah sure.”

 

“So why didn’t you react to my wallpaper of you?”

 

Jin smiled and leaned in to kiss Jungkook. “Because you tell me every morning that I’m the most beautiful thing you see.”

 

Jungkook grinned. Jin IS the most beautiful thing in his eyes. He loves every aspect of Jin, from his little belly to his lips and every little thing there is. “Well you are, and I love every single part of you, including your imperfections.” He left the older to be a blushing mess and he tried to clear up all the dishes as well as keep the extra food in the refrigerator.

 

Once everything was cleaned up, the couple went back to their room and cuddled. “I really missed your cooking babe,” Jungkook whispered into Jin’s hair.

 

“Well, we’ve been busy and I’m really tired after everything, but I promise after we end our promotions and tour, I’ll try to cook more meals alright. But you have to pay me in kisses and love. They’re my motivation.” Jin cheekily said before snuggling into his boyfriend’s chest.

 

“Then I’ll provide you with an endless supply of those if it means I get to eat your cooking more,” Jungkook looked down at his lover and kissed his temple, “You know, you’re perfect for me. I love you and everything about you, don’t forget that.”

 

If the lights were switched on, Jin’s face rivaled a tomato’s. “If I had known that cooking for you in the wee hours of the morning makes you sappy, I would’ve done this more often.”

 

“Nah, I just felt that I should tell you how much I love and appreciate you more often. Not many people have the pleasure of eating home cooked food, especially from their lover. I gotta appreciate this.” Jungkook knows that his words are making Jin flustered with the way Jin’s currently squirming in his arms.

 

“Yeah, I love you too Kookie. More than you can ever understand.”

 

Those two only fell asleep around 5 am, cuddled tightly in each other’s arms and basking in the warmth of their love for one another.
