the world was watching
a funny thing about mortality, especially with heroes is that you don't expect them to actually die, you know? they come out and save the day.
no one realizes that there are humans behind those masks. supernaturally enhanced humans, yes, but humans nonetheless.
but when iron man is put into a comatose state, reality hits a group of people. these heros need their legacies. they need people that can take after them in case of untimely deaths.
suddenly, everything clicks. make a school and train enhanced superhuman teenagers. train them to become the new forms and legacies of these superheroes.
what could go wrong, right?
A LOOK INSIDE.
superheros, axel realized, were horse. their conceived immortality wasn't real. they died just like regular people. sometimes, the villians prevailed.
"what if we made a school?" he asks one day, fiddling with the eraser of his pencil. "like, a school for a bunch of kids like us, where the goal is to ultimately become these heros' legacies?"
the inquiry is so casual, peter thinks they're discussing video games and other nerd stuff like they usually do. the older boy snorts, "so, what, we're going to make another xavier institute?"
axel sighs, "i don't know, maybe? but the x-men are pretty much their own people. these people..." axel trails off, finally looking up at peter. "we can continue to be the people under the masks that the world has faith in, you know?"
peter likes the sound of that. he grins at the younger, "i don't suppose you'll have anyone replacing me anytime soon?" axel only chuckles.
"your legacy will come sometime soon."
enrollment guidelines.
1. subscribe to the story. not only for you to keep track of updates, but for me to keep track of how many possible applications i'll be getting.
2. comment every few chapters, so i know you're actually interested in this story. we get busy, so i don't expect you to comment every chapter, but i wanna know you're there.
3. this is strictly marvel universe centric. so anything within the range of the guardians of the galaxy, the avengers, xmen, even the stuff in the comics. but people like batman or wonder woman or the teen titans? completely different universe and we can't deal with those things.
4. know that these updates may be really fast, but they may be hella slow. i'm a person who's trying to pass high school right now, so that's that.

MICRO NOTE
oh boy. this is, what, my first applyfic in maybe 2 or 3 years? a lot of things have changed since then, i'm sure. so spare me a little bit, because i'm a bit new on this brand new wave of applyfics. wowza。but hey! i wanted to try this concept out. hopefully you'll be interested and actually apply, which i hope you do, cause i plan to work hard on this!
