Foreword
DREAM SAYS hi everyone! y'all can call me dream on this account! *claps like a seal* some of you may know me from my main account which is @neoculture_dorkology, and if you do, then hi friendos! i made this account because my other account is messy and i have too many drafts so i can barely keep track of stories as is so i made this one ( and also made it for other more personal reasons but yo, let's not talk personal right now ). i hope everyone enjoys this fic which was encouraged by ariel in her usual fashion and which will feed my need to fluff and comedy and write hopeless soulmate!aus
"HYEJEONG, this list of potential soulmates is less of a list and more of a directory of everyone you've met in uni," deadpans yuta with the expression of a man who is resigned to his fate.
hyejeong frowns. "not true, yuta, i left you and hyeri off of the list and i've met the two of you."
"hyeri's your cousin and i'm your best friend," yuta responds, "who has already found his soulmate."
"it's a comprehensive list," hyejeong offers weakly. then he sighs, giving up under yuta's stare. "okay, so i did sort of list everyone, but that's not the point-"
"actually, it was," muttered yuta. he narrowly avoided hyejeong's swat and was treated to a string of french words that were most likely colorful.
"-anyway, i just want to find my soulmate before i'm old and gray." hyejeong frowns at the list, crumples it up and tosses it at yuta. "are you gonna help me?"
"i hope he's an ," yuta mutters, though he doesn't mean it, and gets up to throw the list away.
SOULMATES! while it's pretty well known that everyone ( almost everyone, anyway ) has a soulmate, it's a challenge to find those soulmates, and it's a challenge to struggle through life with a soulmate, especially one that hasn't been located yet. everyone and their soulmate are different, but it's an accepted fact that things can be difficult.
a group of tired uni kids find themselves bonding due to a series of what they call their unfound-soulmate-mishaps™ and one thing leads to another. with newly developing friendships and late night laughs over what the day may have brought, the group make a pact to help one another find their other halves.
