“I’m sorry but I’m busy right now”, I said.

 

“But I miss you”, she said.

 

“I miss you too but I have test.”, I said.

 

“But you’ve benn busy for a year”, she said.

 

“I know but I have to study hard to enter university”, I sighed.

 

“Yong Sun”, I called her.

 

“Yes?”, she said.

 

“If I get top 3 in class, my mum will let me hangout”, I said.

 

“Just wait till my next test”, I added.

 

“Can you do it? You’re the top 3 in the bottom”, she sighed.

 

“I can do it. Just trust me.”, I confidently said.

 

“Alright”, she sighed again.

 

“I’m sorry I can’t spend time with you”,I apologise.

 

“I know”, she said.

 

“Just left a year before I study finish. Can you wait till that time for me?”, I asked.

 

“Of course. I love you”, she said and ended the call.

 

Everyday, everynight, every second in my life I study hard just to be the top student so that I have my mum’s permission to hangout in the weekend. I still active in sports but only in volleyball and field and track. I’ve been busy as the head of prefect in my school so I rarely message her. I do feel bad but just a year to go until I finish my school life.

 

“Heyy, how’s your university life?”, I messaged her after a long time.

 

“Not so good.”, she replied.

“Someone talked bad about me”, she replied.

“There’s a group project I have to do. This girl said that I didn’t contribute any effort for the project and everyone hated me. But I did my part well”, she said.
