Once every four years, our school hosts a prom. We attend in fancy clothes, eat fancy finger food, and dance fancy, if not boring, dances. Then after that, 3 judges select the most romantic couple from the crowd, though most of us just make out, and use the contest thing as an excuse. But now, students are hesitant to attend. Someone had spread a rumor, saying that the prom queen would somehow die a few days after she was declared the winner. But that's not all, her 6 closest friends would also die in a similar fashion to her death. They say the schools first prom queen died while she was paragliding, her parachute had collapsed, and she slammed inti a cliff face before being skewered by the salt hardened rocks below. Police expected sabotage, but no evidence was found. Her friends all died, from the one she was just friends with, to her closest mate. Us students have tried to ask around the teachers and staff, and although they say it's not true, they aren't exactly rushing to deny it.
