"Everyone ready?" Sana yelled out as she moved the phone around so that all the members could be seen in the frame.

"Yah Momo, don't sleep!" Jeongyeon teased as she reached behind her and wacked Momo’s thigh. "We're gonna do the countdown!"

Momo jumped in her seat as her eyes shot wide open, "I'm not asleep. I was just resting my eyes."

"Sure you were." Jeongyeon sarcastically commented.

"Shut up!" Momo whined as she hit Jeongyeon who sat in front of her.

"No fighting, you two." Nayeon warned the two ’96 liners who were about to start a slapping war.

"Yahhhh! Only 15 seconds until the new year!" Sana exclaimed, bringing everyone’s attention to the phone she held as they fixed their posture and appearance.

"Everyone ready?" Sana asked once she saw through the screen that her members have settled.

"Am I in it?" Nayeon asked from the back as she craned her neck to get a view of the phone.

"Yes you are!" Sana announced as she held her free hand up and waved it. "Ready??? Here we go!"

Sana started recording and started the countdown which everyone eventually joined in on. Once the clock reached midnight, cheers erupted in the vehicle and New Year greetings were shouted out.

"Happy New Year!" Sana wished as she waved to the camera.

A few seconds later, Sana had saved the video and watched it again with a smile. She was thankful to be able to capture the moment to share it with their fans later. For the past years, they have always been on stage during the countdown but this time it was different. They were as busy as always but they were away from the public eye. Even though the girls value their privacies, they still had moments behind all the glitter and glamour that they want to share with the fans they loved so dearly.

Sana passed the phone around to show the girls and get their approval before posting it online. Soon, the vehicle was filled with indistinct chatter from Jihyo, Nayeon and Jeongyeon as the rest of the girls listened on while on their phones – taking the opportunity to send well wishes and New Year greetings to their loved one.

"Tzuyu ah, look here." Sana tapped the younger girl beside her to get her attention.

Tzuyu looked up from midway replying a few New Year greetings from her friends back home and saw Sana holding the phone up in front of them, ready to take a selfie. The younger girl leant closer to Sana so they would both fit in the frame. Sana clicked the button to snap the picture and brought the phone closer to check the selfie they took. She smiled at how adorable they look together and proudly tilted the phone for Tzuyu to see.
