Jimin
You love onceYoongi walked in to his room and took off his jacket, throwing it onto the bed. He was about to head to the washroom when he heard someone else walk in. He turned to see Namjoon traipse in, a rather confused grimace on his face. He was muttering something under his breath and he almost bumped into Yoongi, who cleared his throat to alert him of his presence. Namjoon looked at him with a start, stopping at an arms distance.
“Oh I’m sorry Yoongi shi!” He made his way around Yoongi to the window at the far end of the room.
“Is everything okay Namjoon shi?”
“Huh?” Namjoon was looking out the window. Yoongi noticed him craning his neck, to look down the driveway visible below. He didn’t seemed to listen to what Yoongi had actually asked. “Yeah yeah...”
Yoongi cleared his throat. Social skills had never been his asset. And this was one of those atypically weird situations where he usually felt like melting into the ground to avoid actually needing to decide how to react. The guy whose room this was had just come in and was ignoring him. What was he supposed to do? Walk out of the room to give Namjoon privacy? Or just stand there, motionless, so that he wouldn’t create a problem or a distraction? It was dilemmas like this one that made him want to stay perpetually within the comfort of his own room, far away from any possibility of crossing paths with anyone.
He decided he would slowly creep out of the room unnoticed. When he had taken a few inaudible steps sideways, Namjoon’s eyes moved, catching his movement. Yoongi stopped in his tracks, a wide artificial smile automatically appearing on his face.
Namjoon turned his head partially toward him and said, “Yoongi shi, did you by any chance see in which direction Jimin’s car left? This room is the only one with a clear enough view of the entire road from the door.”
Yoongi gave a surprised look. “What? No…Sorry, I just came in actually.”
“Oh…it’s okay, no problem. I’ll catch you later.” Namjoon turned away from the window and walked past Yoongi towards the door.
“Wait, Namjoon shi…Where did Jimin go? So soon after his engagement-…”
Namjoon stopped in his tracks, and seemed to deliberate for a few seconds before turning to Yoongi. He had the hint of the grimace from earlier on his face. He opened his mouth once, seeming to contemplate on whether to say something or not.
“Um, Yoongi shi, actually…Umm I don’t know. He kinda left in a hurry.” Namjoon grimaced. Yoongi thought, Namjoon seemed to be the kind of person who was not at ease revealing his loss of control over a situation.
Wait…what?...He left in a hurry.
Oh .
Jungkook left…now Jimin. What’s happening?
Oh Holy , is this the consequence of the stuff I told Jimin earlier. Oh ! ! ! Why did I have to say all that?
I hope it isn’t going to make everything worse.
“Um…did you ask him where he was going?” Yoongi realised how stupid his words must sound.
But Namjoon did not react badly. He took a few steps in Yoongi’s direction, seeming to hesitate again.
“Namjoon shi, you seem worried. Is everything okay? Can I help with something?” Yoongi said, unsettled by Namjoon’s uncharacteristically confused face.
“Actually…Yoongi, yes.” Namjoon walked up to him, placing a hand on Yoongi’s shoulder. “I think I do need your help. Yoongi ignored the urge to cower away from him.
“O-kay? What can I do?”

“Why are you here?”
“That’s not an answer to my question. It’s a very simple yes or no question. You hinted that I’m stupid yesterday, remember? You're acting unbearably stupid yourself right now."
Jungkook looked up at Jimin with gritted teeth. He looked exasperated and bewildered and seemed to be running out of ways to evade answering.
“Jimin shi, you shouldn’t be here. Go home and let me leave.”
Jungkook grasped the car handle and pulled the door open. Jimin moved with surprising speed, reaching Jungkook’s side in a second and tossed the door so that it closed with a loud “thud” making Jungkook jump back.
“What the hell-…”
“Not so fast.” Jimin had a wide cynical smile plastered on his face as he rested his back against the car door, blocking it from Jungkook’s reach.
Jungkook closed his eyes and threw his hands up in frustration, muttering something under his breath which seemed like a familiar cuss word to Jimin.
“What-on-ing-earth-is-your-ing-problem-Jimin?!” He opened his eyes, his face contorted into an irritated expression as he looked at Jimin.
“There! That’s more like you!” Jimin smirked. “Now, do you have enough guts to answer my question?”
“What the hell does it matter to you? You’re getting what you always wanted. You have Taehyung. Then why the are you here to interview me in the middle of nowhere?!” Jungkook moved forward, towering over Jimin. “Just move out of my way. I don’t want to have to force you.”
“Don’t threaten me, I’m not scared of you.” Jimin scoffed.
Jungkook blew out a breath of exasperation. He brought his hand up to massage the bridge of his nose in frustration.
“Okay. Fine. Now please, just move aside and let me go.”
“NO. Just say yes or no. What are you so scared of? Do you love Taehyung or not?”
"Jimin. Get out of my way."
"Are you afraid of saying it?"
“YES!” Jungkook shouted and Jimin couldn’t help but flinch. “YES! I DO! I love him alright?! HAPPY?!”
“Then why did you leave him behind? You hate my guts as much as I loathe yours. So why let me have Taehyung? Why not take what’s yours?”
Jungkook’s eyes narrowed as he stared at Jimin.
“No! What do you mean take- Taehyung isn’t a toy we both spotted at the market. And besides - … Taehyung loves you.”
“How I wish that were true. But it’s not. What do you think I am, a fool? Stop kidding me. I know as much as anyone who knows Taehyung, whom-…” A brief flicker of pain passed through Jimin’s face. “Whom he loves.”
“That was the past. You’re his present.”
Jimin laughed drily. “Yeah, that’s nice melodrama. Now, the truth, Jungkook. Why?”
