Chapter Two
365 Not-So-FreshTriple H continued doing illegal things together, spending money that didn't belong to them and Hui continued being the third wheel in the group.
It was until one day when the police have successfully traced and caught up to the location they took refuge in did they panic and flee. Being almost caught, the three of them clumsily managed to make a narrow escape. However, they were all scraped up due to the attempt of defending themselves against armed officers while escaping.
The three of them ran and ran as far as their feet could take them from where the police last found them. They ended up in an unknown part of a small, peaceful town. They all doubled over, hands propped on their knees trying to catch their breaths.
Hui swallowed, "We have to lay low for a while now." E'Dawn stared at Hui with his eyebrows furrowed, "Where are we gonna stay? We don't have any more money left on us, I'm pretty sure the police have already confiscated what's left of it." Hyuna gathered her hair in her hands, stressed, "This is it, guys. We're doomed."
Hui rolled his eyes, "Please, we'll be fine. Have you guys forgotten who I am? I'm a bloody thief, a good one at that. I'll get us back what we've lost in no time. All I'm saying is we need to remain low profile for a while until the police give up on their little search party for us."
E'Dawn looked around them and realised they were close to an alley that looked pretty safe and unbothered, no one would search for them there. It didn't look too bad, at least there weren't any rats spotted and that's all that matters. Hui noticed where E'Dawn had his eyes trained on and shrugged his shoulders, "Seems like a good place to stay for the night."
Hyuna's eyes widened in horror, "No way, I'm not staying there!" She screeched, only to be ignored by the pair of guys, "Whatever, come find us when you can come up with a better idea." muttered Hui, sometimes he wished Hyuna could be a little more resourceful. She was being annoying and that was the last thing he needed at this moment.
