*Umji POV
After the revelation, SinB just leave all of us without saying anything. i try to catch up to her to talk but "the offer also goes to you Umji-ah, i know we are childhood friend, but i don't want you to just blindly follow us into possible death without spending some times to think" is all she says

I don't know what to think about, Eunbi and SinB is all i have since i also lose my parents long time ago. After everyone say that they will go their separate way to think for a while, i am the one left on the rooftop, thinking about my childhood tragedy and my savior.

*flashback

"so, this is the daughter of the famous speedster and the ice queen? kinda cute don't you think?" a pyromancer says while holding a little girl that are crying for her parents

"mommy, daddy, help me" The girl cry out

"it's okay sweetheart, we will save you, stop crying okay" The dad, a speedster, assure the little girl trying to charge up his speed

"uh uh uh. you dare use your power, your daughter will die" the pyromancer get his flame closer to the girl

"now burn" the pyromancer throw fireball to the speedster's feet

"AAARRGGHH!!" the speedster fall to the ground with his feet burning

"Dear" his wife, the ice queen running to the speedster side

'YOU WILL REGRET DOING THIS TO MY HUSBAND" The ice queen scream

"oh i will not, let see how much fire needed to burn the ice queen" the pyromancer throw a big fireball toward the ice queen

"i will not beaten by any fire" the ice queen try to repel the fire by cooling it down using her ice power

what she did not know is that the fireball is not ordinary fireball, after it cooldown, it become a blue fire, a fire that can't be died out. that way, the ice queen is burned to crisp.

"Hahahahaha. i am the strongest there is" the pyromancer laugh after killing both the parents of the girl

"now, you are useless to me, how about you go join your parents?" the pyromancer charge up his fire ready to burn the little girl

"now di--" suddenly, a black spear flew out of nowhere stabbing the guy right on the chest

"umji-ah, are you okay?" a girl come crashing in the house

"SinB-ah, my mom, and dad" The girl just keep on crying looking at the corpse of her mom and dad

"Look, i know it's hard, but crying won't solve anything, just be strong, for your parents, i know for sure they will say the same" SinB trying to calm the girl down

"but, i can't do anything without them, SinB-ah" The girl keep on crying

"Okay, okay, Umji-ah, listen to me, if we stay here, we are going to die, i don't plan to die today, i also don't want to let you die, Eunbi will nag me a lot if that happen, so can you at least follow me outside" SinB says with a clearly annoyed tone

Umji finally be able to calm down a little thanks to SinB's nagging.

"Okay SinB-ah, i know how annoying Eunbi can be when he nag" umji says with a little chuckle

*end of Umji POV

After that event, the three best friends become closer than ever, they are no longer just friends, they treat each other like siblings. She is the only one able to force SinB to let Eunbi out if the two have a little argument

*end of flashbacks

"staying alone umji-ah?" a voice suddenly calls out to her, surprising umji that doesn't realise someone is there with her

"ah yuju-ah, i think you guys gone already" Umji reply after realising it is her friend and well, her crush since the first time she saw her

"well, i am about to go when i realise that you are not coming down from the rooftop, i think you are being attacked by that Joker guy or something" Yuju says

"no, i am not, just thinking about my past" Umji says while smiling

"oh, you two are childhood friends right?" yuju ask

"yes, we are, although some people says we are more like a siblings than friends" Umji says

"may i know what happen to the three of you?" yuju continue asking

Umji tell yuju about her past, how she lives, her parents, the killers, and how SinB save her lives

"SinB is a nice girl, it's just she can be a little hard to convey her feeling, since she always have to put up strong front to protect eunbi" Umji conclude by saying that

"i assume that even before SinB gives us that choice, you already chosen huh?" Yuju reply with a smirk

"yeah, just like she saves my life, i owe her everything, so now it's my turn to save hers" umji says with determined tone in her voice

"then i owe her more than she knows too" yuju says which in turn shock umji

"h-huh? but w-why?" Umji stutter while asking

"well, if she doesn't save you, i will never met you" yuju says with the biggest smile she can make which (yep, you guessed it!!) make umji blush a lot while looking at the floor like it contain the most amazing piece of art ever

Yuju just approach the girl and hug her saying "thank you for being alive and being the cutest human being ever"

i kinda dedicate this chapter for umji's past and some yumji moment since i can't find another chance to insert their relationship. and if you are dense enough to not realise by the end of this chapter, yes, yuju also fell hard for the girl. but not at their first meeting, but after the two talk a lot.
