{Chapter 17: I’m exhausted tonight.{

“Hani” Changbin called as he stood in front of the girl sitting there barefooted with a bottle of soju in her hands.

“Emm?” she answered turning back as she blinked her eyes trying to see his face in the dark.

“Get up” Changbin said grabbing her arm as Hani looked at him

“Seo Changbin?” she muttered as she pulled her hand away

“Get out of here” she whispered as she turned away looking at the river.

“Let’s get home, now” Changbin said in a stern voice as Hani chuckled getting up

“Wae?” she asked as Changbin sighed grabbing her arm

“Y-yah, don’t touch me” Hani said pulling her hand away

“I’ve been so hurt lately oh? You probably don’t care but I am so hurt” Hani said, crying

“You’re drunk, let’s go” Changbin sighed as Hani smiled

“I want to…believe…you are being true to me but you…you are so mean” she said as she looked at Changbin, pointing at him the entire time.

“I thought a lot today” she said, starting to cry again

“Hani-yah, oppa is sorry okay?” Changbin said guilt all over his face as Hani looked at him

“I was like, waaaa, Yang Hani, how could you say all those wo-words to Seo Changbin? Why didn’t I th-think twice before I told him all those, oh? Hyunjin-ah?” Hani muttered

“Oh, right, you’re Changbin…god what’s wrong with me” Hani muttered hitting her head, laughing, as Changbin quickly grabbed her as she lost her balance, passing out from the alcohol.

“Hani-ah?” Changbin called as the bottle of Soju dropped from her hands making a clanging sound

“Mianhae” he muttered as he her hair lovingly.

Changbin sat outside as he looked at the morning skies - 4 am.

Did I really hurt her so insensitively like that? –he thought as her words from last night rang in his head

“I’ve liked people but not as much as I like you. So don’t be too harsh on me, oh?” –she said in her drunken state

Why do I keep hurting you? Am I really that bad?

Hani opened her eyes as she looked around in the unfamiliar room

“Where am I?” she muttered as she looked at the time – 4am.

*What happened last night?* she thought as she tried to recall last night’s incident

*Someone called my name and…what happened after that?* she thought as she put on the blanket placed on the chair as she rubbed her head

“Ouch” she muttered as she walked out of the room as she walked through the unfamiliar house when he caught her sight

How could I not recognize him?

I wish I could run to him and tell him I never meant what I said to him. I really wished I could.

I didn’t just want to turn my back on him.

I never wanted to believe that Changbin could do anything bad to hurt me purposefully.

Hani went and sat next to the rapper who was lost with the skies, making him turn to face her

“You’re awake? Do you want to have anything?” Changbin asked worriedly as Hani looked down shaking her head

“Can you just sit and talk with me?” her small voice answered as Changbin looked at her sadly

“I’m so sorry I was so insensitive towards your feelings” Changbin said as Hani turned to him, already teary, and quickly turned down

“I didn’t mean what I said last night” she muttered as Changbin smiled placing his hand on her head

“I know” he smiled

“You are not a pabo and…you can share your bull with me” Hani muttered making Changbin chuckle.

“Araaa” he answered smiling

“But I really don’t like it when you go everywhere with that girl” Hani sulked as Changbin placed his arms around her waist, quickly pecking her cheek

“Yahhh” Hani muttered as she turned to him and smiled

“Saranghae” Changbin said softly pecking her lips as Hani smiled, as his eyes forming crescents

“Na du” she said pecking his lips as she paused, pulling away.

“Aish, so cheesy” Hani giggled putting her arms around his body as his arm rested on her waist, the blanket covering both of them.

“I wish we could do this every time” Hani smiled cuddling close to Changbin

“We could” Changbin said blankly

“Your alcohol though” he added making a face as Hani pulled away

“mwo? Yah it’s because of you—”

“You’re hot when you get mad like that” Changbin smirked as Hani quickly pulled herself to Changbin

“Shut up, you pabo” she muttered making him laugh as he kissed the top of her head.
