“Sooyeon-ah, can you please go to the room first?” Chaeyoung told Sooyeon.

Sooyeon nodded and went to her room.

Chaeyoung sighed before she turned to look at Jungkook.

“She’s my daughter?” Jungkook asked.

Chaeyoung slowly nodded.

“Why you didn’t tell me? Why did you hide it? Why did you lie? W-”

“Lie? You think I lied to you?” Chaeyoung asked in disbelief.

Jungkook bit his inner cheek. “Minah said y-“

“See. It had always been Minah. Always!” Chaeyoung raised her voice.

Chaeyoung sat quietly with her head hung low.

“I know he loves you so much but please think of his future.” Jungkook’s Grandma told her with a sad smile on her face.

“I already arranged everything for him. After he finish with his studies, I already chose a girl to be his wife.” Grandma Jungkook paused.

“I hope you understand.” Grandma Jungkook said and left the café.

Chaeyoung felt tears rolled down from her eyes.
