Deal?

The Deal

Chapter 2

Yesung gaped in shock at the man in front of him…but more than that, his gaze was fixed on the large amount of money the guy was holding.  Suddenly, the possible repercussions of his actions was lost on him, as the only thing that mattered was that there’s a man right now who would be the answer to his problems. Yesung went near the man and mindlessly tried to lunge at the money, but before he could touch it, the man whipped it out of his reach.

“Wait! First, are you willing to sell yourself or not?” Kyuhyun asked.

All Yesung could think of was having the money…only the money…so he immediately answered, “I will!”

Yesung suddenly found himself being pushed away. “Instead of him, why not consider me?” the girl who pushed Yesung perked up.

“No! You should consider me,” another girl said, pushing the other girl.

“I’m not interested in your kind,” Kyuhyun coldly said. “Come.” He pulled Yesung’s arm and led him to his car.

“Get in.” Yesung’s jaw fell open. In front of them was one of the grandest cars he had ever seen in his life. It was a limousine…a sleek and black limo.

As soon as they settled on their seats, the car came to life. Yesung couldn’t help but fidget and swivel his head left and right, trying to take it all in and inspect every inch of the limo’s interior. It was his first time being in such a glamorous car and everything he saw inside amazed him, from the comfortable seat with a rich scent of leather to the quiet purr of the engine.

“Wow!” Yesung couldn’t help but mutter.

Kyuhyun shot him an irritated look. “Can’t you ride quietly?”

“But it’s my first time riding something like this!” Yesung retorted, continuing to look from left to right.

“If you don’t keep quiet, I’ll take my money back,” Kyuhyun warned.

That shut Yesung up and kept him still. He gulped nervously and clutched tightly his pocket where he had put the money Kyuhyun had given him as an initial payment.

Kyuhyun sighed when Yesung finally shut up. He looked at the suddenly meek guy beside him and said, “From now on, don’t talk unless you’re being talked to. Deal?”

Yesung wanted to ask why but, in the fear of losing the money, he just timidly nodded.

“Good,” Kyuhyun sighed and finally relaxed in his seat.

To be able to pay me the money that I needed…just what kind of person is he really? Yesung thought as he silently and discreetly examined Kyuhyun.  He looked at the brooding, almost bored look on Kyuhyun’s face and thought, His face looks well-groomed, but somehow it’s scary.

Then suddenly, his body jolted in shock as the full implication of what he’s doing hit him. Tonight…I need to give myself to him. I wanted to save myself until I get married but…the image of Kyuhyun’s arms around him, his lips latched onto him flashed in his mind made him blush, his heart thumping nervously. He was scared of what could possibly happen, but he knew he had no choice but to do it.

He looked outside to take his mind off things. They passed by a garden of roses and Yesung looked at it hungrily. He had always loved roses and for him, they’re the most beautiful flowers in the world. He kept on staring at it until it completely vanished from his sight.

Kyuhyun noticed Yesung craning his head in the window, trying to get a good look at something. Then after a while, he straightened at his seat, looked down and sighed.

“Are you ok? Do you feel ill?” Kyuhyun asked, trying to appear nonchalant.

Yesung quietly shook his head, still looking down. Kyuhyun furrowed his eyebrows in silent concern but let Yesung keep his silence. The rest of the journey was spent in silence.

“Here we are,” Kyuhyun announced as the car stopped. Yesung automatically reached for the door handle and went out, trailing after Kyuhyun’s back, not even paying attention where they were.

“Just walk straight ahead,” Kyuhyun said. Yesung finally looked up…and if the car was (considered) amazing, it was nothing compared to Kyuhyun’s house…or mansion was more like it. It was a large three-story white house. It looked very elegant from the outside; Yesung knew it would look more awesome inside.

So this is his house, Yesung thought.

“It’s huge,” Yesung couldn’t help but exclaim in amazement.

Kyuhyun flashed him a look and he suddenly remembered their deal about not talking unless being talked to. He immediately covered his mouth and looked apologetically at Kyuhyun. Fortunately, Kyuhyun started walking again and Yesung gratefully followed.

When the door opened, Yesung noticed immediately the grand staircase, elegantly wounding its way from the ground floor up to the next floor. The floor, as well as the stairs, was covered in soft carpet that Yesung could feel his feet sinking into it. Every surface of the house was gleaming, to the point that you could practically use it as a mirror. Three girls appeared wearing a maid’s uniform, a man who’s clearly not a Korean, and probably the butler.

“Welcome home,” the maids greeted, bowing to the pair. “Welcome home, young master,” the butler greeted.

Young master??? Yesung was just grasping now how rich Kyuhyun really was.

Kyuhyun tossed his Coat to the butler. “Hangeng, I leave everything to you,” he said.

“With certainty,” the man called Hangeng replied, bowing as Kyuhyun made his way up the stairs and disappearing at the second level.

“Well then,” Hangeng said, looking at Yesung. “This way please, Yesung-ssi.”

“Huh?” How did he know my name? Yesung wondered.

They lead him to a door on the left side of the house. When Hangeng opened it, Yesung looked inside and found out it was the bathroom…and a grand one at that. Yesung’s house could probably fit in that bathroom alone.

Hangeng walked in and Yesung followed. “The towels are in there,” Hangeng said, pointing at the drawer on the right corner. “The shampoos and soaps are also in there and if you want to have a bubble bath, the powder is there in the closet above the drawer.”

Yesung immediately understood that he was expected to take a bath. Whoever’s the guy that bought me, only one thing is clear…he sure values cleanliness, Yesung thought as his eyes roamed the inside of the bathroom.

“I’ll just be waiting for you outside,” Hangeng said, bowing at Yesung before he left, closing the door on his way out.

Yesung went to the drawer and closet to look at the things that was in there. Hangeng mentioned something about a bubble bath…but what the hell is a bubble bath? Yesung asked himself. He was curious about that but he didn’t want to ask Hangeng what a bubble bath was, he didn’t want to appear ignorant. In the end, he took out soap and shampoo, ignored the enormous tub, and headed straight to the shower.

Yesung was nervous and shaking at the thought of what would happen after…but the soothing effect of the hot water cascading down his body was hard to ignore…and so he let himself be lost and relaxed at the moment, momentarily throwing aside everything that’s on his mind.

----

After 15 minutes, he was done. He reached for the towel and dried himself. He spotted a bathrobe and donned it on before reaching for the door and stepped out. Hangeng looked up at the sound of the door opening and stood up, smiling at Yesung.

“Please follow me,” Hangeng said. He led Yesung into one of the guest rooms on the second floor. The guest room was as grand and beautiful as the rest of the house. Yesung spotted a girl, standing beside a vanity table. Both Hangeng and the girl ushered him towards the vanity table, and they urged him to sit on the chair. As soon as Yesung had seated, the girl moved, taking out foundation, eyeliner and a bunch of other make-up products and started applying it on Yesung’s face.

Yesung just sat there, patiently waiting for it to finish. He was starting to get confused as to why he needed to do all this. He wondered whether he was too ugly that he needed make-up for their activity that night. But whatever the reason, Yesung knew he had to be patient. After all, Yesung sold himself for the night, and no matter what Kyuhyun wanted to do to him or make him do, it’s all up to him.

As soon as the girl finished putting make-up on Yesung’s face, she immediately started working on his hair. Putting some gel here and there, she styled it to make it look kind of messy but the style still managed to look good on Yesung.

Once everything’s done, Hangeng approached and ushered Yesung to an adjoining door. They walked inside to find out that it’s a walk-in-closet. Yesung was amazed to find lots of clothes there, probably more than you can find in a dress store in the shopping mall, and not only clothes, there’s also countless shoes, jewelry, any type of accessories, watches, you name it. Yesung had his mouth open, feasting his eyes on the various things inside, barely noticing Hangeng taking out a blue long-sleeved polo shirt, a blazer, dark slacks and a pair of black shoes. He laid it all on the table in the corner.

“Please put these on,” Hangeng said, startling Yesung who had almost forgotten that he had company. Yesung approached the table and appraised the clothes. Although he had no knowledge whatsoever about designer clothing, he knew every piece of clothing there was worth more than all of his and his family’s clothes put together.

Hangeng left the room to give Yesung some privacy. As soon as he’s finished, he went out and showed himself to Hangeng. Hangeng looked him up and down, making Yesung squirm in discomfort. He approached Yesung, fixing the cuffs and collar of his suit, before giving him a smile of approval.

“Come now, the young master is waiting,” Hangeng said, heading out of the door.

Yesung felt like his heart was going to burst out of his chest any moment. The thing he dreaded the most was about to come and he was at his wit’s end, trying to settle down his nerves.

They didn’t walk far; the room they stopped at was also at the second floor. Hangeng knocked and said, “Young master, the preparations are complete.”

   “Come in,” Kyuhyun said.

When Hangeng opened the door, Yesung took a deep breath and braced himself before going inside. The room inside wasn’t the one Yesung anticipated. He thought they were going into Kyuhyun’s room, but the room was more like an office; a large mahogany desk, laid with books and documents, a swivel chair, and shelves containing large volumes of books. There, standing beside the shelf, reading papers was Kyuhyun.

Kyuhyun’s eyes widened at the sight of Yesung. Kyuhyun had to admit, that with make-up adorning his face, and nice and fitted clothes accentuating his body…Yesung was simply breathtaking. He immediately composed himself and acted nonchalant when Yesung’s gaze landed on him.

“Hmm…” Kyuhyun mumbled, trying to look emotionless.

“My! Are you trying to hide your shyness, young master? Yesung-ssi looks so handsome, right?” Hangeng exclaimed, his natural bubbly self surfacing. “Don’t tell me that after all this you still have something else to do-”

“Leave us, Hangeng,” Kyuhyun said shortly, putting a stop to Hangeng’s endless chatter.

“Yes sir. Please excuse me,” Hangeng said, bowing his way out of the room.

Yesung breathed a sigh of relief. He turned to Kyuhyun and glared at him. “What’s the meaning of this? Do you know how difficult it is to keep silent all this time?” he said, striding forward to confront Kyuhyun. But halfway there, he tripped on his own feet and as his body swayed, aiming at the floor, Yesung gave a quiet gasp and closed his eyes, waiting for the moment his body would hit the floor.

But it didn’t happen…instead of the cold hard floor, he landed on a warm and soft body. Yesung opened his eyes to see his body, enveloped by Kyuhyun’s long and slender arms.

“You’re beautiful,” Kyuhyun couldn’t help but whisper into Yesung’s ear, inhaling the manly scent that was Yesung.

Yesung blushed, his heart thumping loudly in his chest. “You’re quite suited to become mine. I can make you more beautiful,” Kyuhyun continued to whisper.

In Yesung’s shock, he pushed Kyuhyun away from him and leaned against the nearest wall. His face was red, almost scarlet in color.

“I’m sorry…but I…this is the first time I’ve ever…” Yesung was cut off from his senseless babbling by Kyuhyun’s arms, landing on both sides of his head, trapping him to the wall.

Kyuhyun shot Yesung a penetrating glare. “Don’t misunderstand me. I want to buy your life,” Kyuhyun said.

“My…life?” Yesung asked, confused as to why Kyuhyun said that. “U-um…I never went to school so I’m not good at anything at all-”

“I want you to marry me,” Kyuhyun cut him off once again.

Marry???!!! Yesung was so shocked he end up spluttering, “But that’s impossible! I have a bunch of starving kids! Well, they’re not my children but they’re my siblings, and my older brother is basically useless. And if I’m not there with them…” Yesung stopped, shaking his head. He felt like he wasn’t making any sense anymore…and it felt as if he’s agreeing already with the idea.

What’s happening to me? Yesung asked himself.

Kyuhyun studied Yesung quietly. “I’ll pay no matter how much it will cost,” Kyuhyun declared after a moment of silence.

“Even more than 2 million?” Yesung asked incredulously.

“Yes. If that’s what you want,” Kyuhyun said, with a triumphant glint in his eyes.

Yesung had to admit that the prospect of having lots of money, to ensure that his brothers would never be hungry again, that he could now provide their every need blinded him from all reasoning. It didn’t matter that he’s condemning himself to a lifetime of being with Kyuhyun, all that mattered was that his family would not suffer anymore.

“However…I will not love you…nor are you to fall in love with me,” Kyuhyun said.

Yesung felt like shivering at the coldness emanating from Kyuhyun’s eyes.

“Are you willing to throw all your love away for money?” Kyuhyun asked.

Throw it away…Yesung was at a loss of what to do. But when I think about it, I don’t even know what love is anyway. I’m sure throwing it away wouldn’t be a big loss to me.

“I’ll throw it away,” Yesung boldly declared.

Kyuhyun smirked. Straightening his body, he told Yesung, “All right, let’s arrange the contract then.”

The truth is…at that time…I didn’t understand what it meant to “throw your love away.” And I didn’t know…how much I would deeply regret saying those words…

A/N: I don’t know…I think I’m going crazy..I don’t what is this T.T

Sorry for the long wait…and I’m sorry because I’ll make you wait again..I’ll finish Memories first since there’s only one part left..and sadly I’m not in the mood to write at the moment~
