000 ‘prologue’

jinsoul didn’t consider herself a master criminal. in fact, she’d never commit a crime before. before today, that was. she wasn’t trained to steal or anything, and didn’t even like doing it. but sometimes… it was just… necessary. this was one of those times. she needed money. badly. but she didn’t have any. and sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do, right? so considering her experience as a criminal, as jinsoul ran from the bank with a bag stuffed full with money hanging off her shoulder, she thought she was doing pretty well.

kahei frowned as she looked at the student exchange information. “i don’t have the money for this… and i couldn’t ask my parents to pay, we’re already struggling with money as it is…” she spoke softly to herself. she sighed and tucked her hair behind her ear. she really wanted to go to korea… it was a shame she couldn’t.

"where are you looking to go?” she heard from behind her. she turned to see a girl with long, curly-ish blonde hair wearing a face mask and holding a bag.

"oh- i was hoping to go to korea, but it doesn’t matter… i can’t afford it anyways.” she replied, shrugging. the girl smiled.

"how about i pay for you?” she offered.

"what? i don’t even know you…” kahei responded, beginning to get confused.

"that's ok! my parents are wealthy, and i'd love to help you!! i’m from korea, you know!” the stranger said.

"wow, really? thank you so much, honestly, i- wow, thank you!” kahei exclaimed.

and just like that, kahei was going to korea.
