Wrong Turn
Our Love Scenario2017
JAEWON
It was a little bit past noon when I came to Jennie’s dorm.
It was the day after she barged into my flat to get me out of my room.
I've finally had time to go and find her, but she wasn’t around.
Her manager let me inside to wait.
I was just about to dial her number when she arrived looking like a mess.
“Where have you been?” I asked as she stepped into the living room.
She was surprised to see me.
“Uhh... out drinking.” She answered groggily, “What are you doing here?”
I sighed, “It’s my parents’ anniversary. Did you forget?”
“Ahhh so that’s why you’re all dressed up.” She nodded to herself. “And yeah, I forgot. I’m sorry.”
Then she pointed to my face, “Hey, you’re looking much better now.”
“Thanks.” I forced a smile, “Though I couldn’t say the same to you.”

She was relieved to see me.
“Ya!” she slapped my arm, “What happened to you the other day??”
“Ouch!” I squealed.
Then she took a peak inside the room to check if I brought Jennie with me.
“Does she know?” she whispered.

Long story short, I’ve fallen crazy in love with a girl in the past - my first love.
We were together for a year.
And so much had happened within that time that I thought we would never separate.
I thought she was the one.
But it only ended with her leaving me for someone else.
And I didn’t even see it coming.
I tortured myself with thoughts of regret after that.
Though everybody else expressed otherwise, I was convinced it was my fault.
And I shut myself away from everything and everyone.
No one could get through to me up until I met Jennie.
That was when my condition got a bit better.
Her presence made me forget about a
