"My win." Hazelnut locks called as he undid his empty ammunition carrier, only to slide in a fresh round. 

"You need a flaw. I'm calling cheats on this one."

The two male stood around a listless pile of bodies, weighing out each other's record in complete apathy. What riles vomit in a public officer's eyes, gave them nothing more than a sharp blink. The background collides into an empty space and their hearts carried no more burden than the lightest element. 

What seemed like a game of nerves to another, was no more than a light-hearted joke to the couple. 

The first shadow swept the red trails clean off his feet as he scoured over a dead jacket, withering on the floor. 

The second broke into a maniac's grin as he kicked himself a pathway and twirled keys of a foreign brand with airy insouciance. "TY's making a split on this one," he professed, the red on the corners of his devious grin. 

"He won't be."
