Momo had always been fascinated by the moon. Something about it seemed majestic and god-like to the point that whenever she prayed, she wouldn’t pray to any gods but to the moon. She found that the moon was always there for her. The night of her first kiss. The night of her first heartbreak. Every bad and good night, she would see the moon there for her. The phases of the moon varied of course and whenever she thinks the moon is almost disappearing, she would smile at the moon as an encouragement for it to keep holding on. She thought that the moon and her had a special connection. She felt that the moon was always listening to her and that’s what made her hold on to make it to the next night to see the moon once again.

She never listened to the news or bothered talking to people about it but when she heard there was a “Super Blue Blood Moon” that night, her ears perked up to eavesdrop about the details. That was when she decided that she’ll spend her night on her balcony, talking to the moon and comforting it.
