“Seungcheol-ah do you want to go with us later to the club?” Soonyoung approached Seungcheol who was about to go inside his car

“Tonight? I have to - “ 

“Ask Jihoon, we know” Soonyoung rolled his eyes while Seungcheol chuckling “When will you stop being so obedient to him, you have the power to ignore whatever he said you know”  

“And I choose not to, we are married Soonyoung, we have to listen and discuss everything together” Seungcheol explained

“Yeah yeah as if you weren’t like that when you both just started dating” Soonyoung commented

“I love him, and he loves me too, I know he wants what’s best for me, listening to his opinion means I appreciate him and shows him that I respect him as my partner, that’s how relationship works” Seungcheol winked and went inside his car

“You are so boring, bye bye, send my love to Jihoon” Soonyoung said before Seungcheol left with his car

“Sure, I will send your ‘greet’ to him”

Seungcheol went inside his apartment with Jihoon and found the younger was watching TV alone at the living room with messy hair and a bowl of ice cream on his lap Seungcheol smiled at the view, it seemed like Jihoon just woke up, the younger had no work on that day and that was how Seungcheol decided he needed to go home as soon as he could doing his work in 2x speed wanted to spend the rest of the day only with Jihoon in their apartment, they rarely have free time to spend together for the past few weeks with their work schedules didn’t match each other. Jihoon looked away from the TV screen when he heard Seungcheol’s footsteps. Ice cream stained  seen on Jihoon’s lips and Seungcheol bend down to it enjoying the chocolate taste on Jihoon’s lips

“I’m home” Seungcheol said, he wiped Jihoon’s lips with his thumb and kissed him again, a little bit longer this time “You taste better than the chocolate ice cream” Seungcheol grinned when Jihoon scoffed, he took off his working suit and flopped down beside the younger “What did you do today at home alone?” As usual Seungcheol opened up their conversation

“I slept well” Jihoon said with eyes back to the screen “How was yours? Isn’t this too early for the boss to go home?”
“The boss did his part, only his secretary still stuck in the office because he decide to video call Vernon instead when he supposed to do his work” Seungcheol explained with eyes staring at Jihoon from the side “I want to go home earlier today because I have a reason to” Seungcheol put his hand on top of Jihoon’s head and ruffled his hair affectionately “You are the reason baby” Seungcheol laughed when Jihoon groaned pretending not to like it but he blushed. After that none of them spoken anything, Seungcheol put his hand on top of Jihoon’s and let the comfortable silent wrapped them both, lucky for them they enjoyed a lot of moments like this, just being there for each other, no words spoken and let the TV sound become the only noise heard in the room

“What are we going to eat today? Do you want to order anything? Or do you want to reheat your mom’s soup she sent to us yesterday?” Seungcheol asked while scanning through their fridge, he took out a bottle of apple juice and pour it for himself and Jihoon. After the movie ended, Seungcheol dragged Jihoon to their kitchen knew the younger hadn’t had anything since morning other than ice cream, Jihoon looked down on the floor while biting his lips, he looked nervous and Seungcheol was wondering why “Did you want to say anything to me?” 

“No.. no… I just…” Jihoon finally looked up from the floor and damn Seungcheol for having such a handsome face, Jihoon could feel his heart beating erratically the moment his eyes met Seungcheol’s “Don’t you want to go to the club today?” Jihoon asked, and when Seungcheol looked at him with a frown on his forehead Jihoon continued “You know I’m fine with you going out with your friend, to the club or to anywhere, you are not chained with me hyung”

“Soonyoung said something to you didn’t he?” Seungcheol sat on the high chair and asked Jihoon to move closer to him, once the younger stood in between his thigh Seungcheol hugged him

“No, nothing, he just asked me whether I can allow you to go to the club tonight, and it was kind of annoyed me because I can’t recall a part in our relationship where I asked you not to go out with your friend to the club or anywhere” Jihoon rested his head on Seungcheol’s wide shoulder while Seungcheol hummed in understanding

“You’ve never say anything like that, you don’t have to feel guilty, it’s what I want, I want to ask your opinion before I do something because you are part of my world Jihoon, even before with no ring attached on our finger you’ve been part of my world and that’s the reason why I insisted to ask for your opinion first before anything because I want you to know how much you matter for me, how much I respect you, and how much I appreciate you, it’s not because we are chained to each other, we are a free individual, you have your own life and I have mine too, but you know that’s how relationship works, we respect each other as individual by respecting each other opinion” Seungcheol pulled back and looked at Jihoon’s eyes “I love you Jihoonnie, that’s the only thing that matters, don’t listen to what others said, I love you and I want what’s best for you and I know you share the same feeling as mine” Seungcheol took Jihoon’s hand to his lips and kissed it. Jihoon looked at Seungcheol, wanted to say something sarcastic but there was no way for him to slip in, what Seungcheol said was just perfect, too perfect it made him speechless 

“I love you” Jihoon said out of nowhere, the moment was just too emotional and too perfect to say it

“I know” Seungcheol smiled and again, kissed Jihoon on his lips sharing the taste the liked the best

“So when are you going to ask my opinion about what you’ve been thinking for the past few weeks?” Jihoon said when they were both ready on the bed was about to go to sleep with Jihoon wrapped tightly by Seungcheol’s arm around his waist.

“Huh? Which one?” Seungcheol looked down and found the younger was actually been staring at him for quite sometimes

“About…” Jihoon took a deep breath “Having a child together?” Seungcheol couldn’t hide his shock expression, his mouth gapping staring at Jihoon with a big question mark on his eyes “How can I know? Because we can read each other’s mind perfectly” Jihoon grinned

“I…” Seungcheol said Hesitantly but Jihoon cut him off

“I’ve been thinking about it too” Jihoon took another deep breath before he continued “and yes… I want to have a child with you hyung”

And kids, that’s how Samuel was born…
