Taeyeon’s POV

I sit in the cold floor next to the window. I like that particular spot because it meant something for me. That was where I and she used to sit and talk about everything. I was bored and hurt, i feel like someone stab me with a long and cold knife. No one say to me when I was younger that love could hurt so much, especially when the person you love doesn’t love you back.

“I swear to you I didn’t eat your stupid ice scream Sooyung” Yuri scream took me out my trance

“Then, where is my ice cream genius?” Sooyung could be really annoying when it comes to her food.

I stood up so I could fix the problem, so the two girls could leave me alone in my comfortable loneliness.

“Here, you need to go and buy ice cream. Also, Sunny was the one who ate your ice cream. Go, buy it with Yuri and leave me alone please” I hand her some money

They just look at me weirdly, but they leave the house, leaving me alone once again. I walk towards the same spot and sit there looking at the blue sky. Most of the people say that when the sky is grey they feel depressed; I was in another edge, when the sky was this blue, this clear, is when I feel depressed.

 

We both knew this type of life didn’t come with instructions

So I’m trying to do my best to make something out of nothing

I feel something wet coming down my cheeks but I didn’t care. Lately, my tears fall down easily; I sigh and close my eyes.

I still don’t understand when this thing happen, when was the first time I realize those pink and plump lips, when was the first time I feel my heart get faster because her smile, when was the first time my heart throb when she leave my side. When was the moment that I end up falling in love with my best friend?

“I really think you should go out” Sunny was now sitting next to me

“For what?” I reply coldly towards her

“Easy there miss, I wasn’t the one that got drunk and kiss someone else in front of all of our friends” Sunny defend herself.

“Yeah, you only told her that she should take that big opportunity to work on that movie” I reply with my croaky voice

“Well, it was a big opportunity for her, she will come back tomorrow, don’t be such a cry baby. You should tell her how you feel, you probably get surprised by her reaction” Sunny said to me while standing up and leaving the house too.

I breathe heavily, feeling my lungs burning so much, it was really an excruciating pain, not only physical but also emotional.

I knew it was a stupid thing to get drunk and kiss Sunye at that party, but I was hurt, she was there sitting flirting with Siwon. Even that happen I knew she didn’t leave to LA for that, it was for the big chance of acting in that movie. But we didn’t say goodbye, she leave like it was nothing, I mean I was dead drunk on my bed, but at least she could leave a note. I guess she was really excited for this movie cast and all. And, well I’m just her best friend or I used to be, I’m not her girlfriend.

 I found myself remembering memories of me and her. I bought those damn rings. We used them as a sign of us been the best friends.

All the time we heard the fans saying “Taeny”, screaming it. I wish it could be real, hug her and kiss her. Been hers and that she was mine. Even when I know this relationship can’t be real, I want it. I will leave my career and this country just to live with her forever. I want to be her everything just like she is everything to me.

I get up from the floor and went to the window, I stood there watching the sky, it was now dark blue, I guess I sit in the floor all the afternoon. I smile sadly thinking in her been scared of the director, her been sad because she doesn’t know anyone. Her been brave trying to do her best.

“I love you so much Stephanie Hwang, more than a friend, more than anything in this life…I wish you could love me back…I wish you could bring your back home” I said with a little giggle thinking on her .

Fanny’s POV:

“Tae…Are you awake?” I ask the drunk dead girl lying on the bed

I touch her face slowly, caressing her cheeks. I lean towards her lips, I kiss them softly. I knew she was drunk, she will never kiss Sunye, she doesn’t feel anything for her. But I don’t think she feels anything for me either. How could her feel something for me when I been flirting with Siwon to make her jealous, to make her explode and confess me. I guess we don’t feel the same.

“I love you so much Taeyeon so much that hurts me, that’s way I need to go. But I’ll be back, I promise I will do my best kid leader” I said almost like a whisper while I kiss her lips again.

“You’re really dense, just as her” Sunny voice makes me angry

“You don’t know, maybe she just see me as a good friend” I rely while putting a cover over the petit body

“Of course, that’s why she takes care of you, cooks for you, kiss your forehead when you’re sick and hug you every time she can. Just like she thinks you are a good friend for her and yet you com and kiss her when she is unconscious, drunk or sleep. I saw both of you sighing for each other, but neither of you believe me” Sunny left me in the room alone.

I kiss those precious lips one more time and left to the airport

“Welcome to South Korea Ma’am” The driver said to me smiling

“Thank you” I reply

“So, you want to go to talk to the manager or to your place” The driver asks me

“I want to go home please, I need to see someone” I explain carefully

I could feel tears coming down my cheeks; I walk closer to her, feeling my heart beating faster and faster. I put my body behind her; she was so focus on watching the sky.

I come closer to her and wrap my arms around her waist, resting my chin on her shoulder. I could feel her whole body tensing up. I smile and kiss her cheek, just like sometimes I do.

“I don’t love anyone else than my dorky kid-face best friend…I love her more than a friend and more than anything…” I whisper to her

She turns her whole body, tears falling from her beautiful brown eyes with a hint of anger, like she was hearing a lie. She come closer to me and grab me by the neck. She pulls me closer to her and kisses me so roughly on the lips. All her love was put in that kiss.
