Oh, its from her older brother!

What should she do? If she dont answer right away,she'll hear about it later.

"Hey Bobby."

"What took you so long Lisa?"

Ughh, she knew he's be mad.

"Sorry Bobby. A friend just came over and...."

"A friend? It better not be a guy!"

Jungkook look at her with a raised eyebrow.

She motioned for him to keep quiet.

"No,no! A girl! Its a girl!" She tries to change the subject. "Whats up Bobby. i havent heard from you in a while."

"Oh, I just wanted to see if you got the package I sent you."

"Yeah,I just got it but havent open it yet. Is it vegetables?"

"Yeah, those are some qualities potatoes and squash. I put some duck stew inside too so make sure you eat it."

"Okay,thanks Bobby."

"Hey Lisa, what are your plans for New Year?"

"Mmm...I was thinking of going home..."

*SLAM*

"I put the package on the table," Jungkook informs her.

Oh no....

"Did I just hear a man's voice?"

"Ummm, what I cant hear you. Thats weird, the signal suddenly got bad...Hello...hello??"

She cancelled the call and turn off her mobile.

She turned her attention back to Jungkook.

"Thanks again for the help."

"See ya."

Lisa sees him to the door but he heads towards the elevator instead of his apartment.

"You going somewhere?"

"Just to the convenient store. Am hungry."

Oh,so earlier he was on his way to the convenient store but instead he came all the way back for her.

She wanted to thank him again but the elevator door is already closed 

......

Lisa tried to lift up the package .

They were right..There's no way she could have carried this all by herself.

Jungkook seems aloof but maybe he's actually a nice guy?

*SLAM!*

What was that noise? Was it coming from tge balcony?

Is it a burglar? But it doesnt seem to be anyone oyt there...

"Meow....."

"Huh..."

"Meow....."

"Thats the cat from before!" 

Lisa picked the cat up."What are you doing here? Does your owner live here?"

Its not wearing a collar so maybe its a stray?

Suddenly she saw someone wandering around in front of the apartment.

"Isnt that Jungkook? But I thought he was going to the store?"

She saw him holding the map ...however he keeps turning it around again and again.

She put in her sandals and went outside.

Now where is he.....Ah there he is!

"Um, are you okay?"she asked as she approaches him."Arent you on your way to the store? Can you make it alone?"

He had his sunglasses on and was surprised to see her but yet he didnt respond to her question....

Sigh, she have to do this all over again....

 ............

"Okay, do you see the apartment building on the map?"

"To the right," he answered.

"Its better to rememner that its to the east. Right now we're here on the map. So now where is the convenient store?"

He pointes out on the piece of paper. "There."

He got it right.

"Thata right. Lets go then."

 "Now which way ia the convenience store from this intersection?"

"........"

"Dont turn the map around! You need to rememebr which direction to go! So which way izzit?"

"West."

"Good.So lets head west."

"Now which way?"

"North, right?"

"Right, lets cross the street here.

"Okay, we're here!" she said happily "So do you get it now?"

"Yeah, I think so."

"Okay, good. I'll be going then..."

He pulled her hand. 

"Wait, I havent paid you back for keeping my secret yet."

She smiles at him. " You dont need to. You pushed my bicycle back to the apartment tonight remember?"

"Well that was to thank you for the map."

"But then you carried that heavy package for me."

"Thats only because you couldnt carry it."

"What I'm trying to say here is that you had already done more than enough."

What is with this conversation anyway?

Just them 2 high school girls came out of the store and stopped dead in their tracks.

"Hey.Isnt that Kookie over there?"

Oh no!!!!

"You're right.Its Kookie! Where's my phone..I need to take a picture!"

No way! How did they recognize him? He is wearing sunglasses....

"Lets go!" Jungkook says as he grabbed my hand tighter and pulled me away and starts running.

"Hey,wait."

Geez, why did she have to come?

They stopped at a playground.

*pant....pant*

Whew, it doesnt look like they were followed.

"Where are we now?"he asked.

"The park. Let me see the map. Here it is. We're are right over here."

He got quiet all of a sudden.

"Should we go to Lawson then?"

"Lawson?"

"Its the other convenient store. Its here on the map."

"Thats pretty far from here."

"No,no.. Not down. Its south remember?"

*GROWLLLLLLLLL*

Lisa almost laughed at the sound.

Poor hungry Jungkook. 

"What about the Calorie8 bars that you bought yesterday?"

"Ate them already?"

"What? All of them?"

He really is living on nothing but nutritional supplement.

"Well, I dont mind sharing my dinner with you."

"At your house?"

"Uh huh but its nothing fancy though."

.....

So they ended up going back to her apartment.

"Please take a seat down there."

Jungkook nodded and Lisa went to the kitchen to open up the package Bobby had sent.

Potatoes,squash,kimchi,duck stew..Oh there's some canned tuna inside too.

"Are there any food that you dont like?"

"Just peppers. Otherwise I'll eat it as long as its edible."

"Got it."

Lisa pondered on what she has for the ingredients and proceeded to cook.

 

"Sorry, it took so long!"

She sets down a plate in front of Jungkook amd he looks at it suspiciously.

She lookes at him,puzzled.

'Is this edible?"

"What? Thats so rude! Of coz it is!"she said. Its something she just threw together but its not as if Its poisonous or something.

"Dont make that face. It might not look good but it doesnt taste bad. Go ahead and try it"

Jungkook doesnt look convinced. Oh well.....Its been so long since she had salmon fried rice. Its sooo good! That canned salmon taste so good in fried rice.

She still have 2 cans left. Maybe she make some salmon burger patties with it.

"More," 

She waa snapped out of her thoughts.

He had handed his plate back to her.

The plate was so clean, no rice can be found on it.

That was fast, Lisa was only on her 5-6th bite.

He finished it despite making a face earlier.

"Its a small portion. I'll get hungry in the middle of the night if I dont eat more," he explained.

"But there isnt any left.."

"What......."

"I only made enough rice for myself to start with. Plus I added in frozen veggies in it."

"So just make some more rice."

"Right now? It takes a long timr to wash and steam the rice ya know."

He looks upset but didnt say anything.

"Ok,ok. I'll make something else"

Lisa got up to her fridge and took out some tofu. She decided to use one more canned tuna.

"Alright,here you go."

She was pissed off when he made that face again.

"Its the same thing.Just tofu instead of rice."

He kept staring at the plate in front of him.

"I'll take it away if you dont want it..."

Jungkook wrapped his arm protectively around the plate. 

"Nobody said I wouldnt eat it."

He scoops a tiny bite of the tofu and puts it in his mouth.

He looked surprised by its taste.

"See? Not bad right?"

He nodded and began to tuck in.

"The canned food from back home is really good."

"......"

"Its good for fried rice,hamburgers and even salad..."

Geez, he is not even listening and focused on eating. But at least he seems to be enjoying the food.

 

"Ahhh..I am so full!"

"Phew..."

"Is it good?"

"Yeah but it looked terrible though. I bet even I can make that."

Lisa almost felt like throwing the plate at his face. Ungrateful brat.

"So then do it!"

"I hate wasting time on things that I dont like."

"Yeah.Yeah."

He said the same thing yesterday.

"Hm, what time izzit right now?"

Lisa looked at her alarm clock."Its almost 10pm "

"What did you say? Damn it, i'm gonna miss the radio show if I dont go home right now."

"Wanna listen to it here?"

He looked surprised that she offered. "Can i?"

"Yeah, I have a portable radio for emergencies.."

"A portable radio?"

Suddenly he look mad.

"Are you making fun of me or are you making fun of Music Hour?!"

"Um no...." 

He got up and started for the door.

"Hey, wait!"

*SLAM!*

"......."

No way, he went home already?

She cant believe he ate and left like that.

Are all celebrities like this? Is this even normal?

The next morninh in the office, Lisa still thought of what had happened the night before.

Normal people would at least carry their plate into the kitchen. And then say something like 'Sorry. I cant stay to clean up or SOMETHING!'

She knew she invited him for dinner but still......

"Oh, there's an article about Kookie at the Entertainment section," J-Hope annouced

"What, where?" Rose asked..standing up behind him to read the article together.

"Opps my bad, its actually about that model, Sookie."

Rose almost strangled him to death. "Are you trying to pick a fight with me?"

He was breathing for air when Rose said angrily," How dare you compare that non talented model to my Kookie!"

"But the only thing he have is his looks too!"

Rose shake his body, trying to make him.understand.

"Are you kidding me? Kookie has charisma. He is a man blessed with talent! He is a genius musician!"

"Not really, he is just some guy with no common sense....."

Rose turned her attention to Lisa.

"What did you say????"

Oh no,she did it again.. She had said that out aloud.

"What did you say Lisa?"Rose demanded.

"Eh...did I say anything?"

Before Rose can say anything more, the president called Lisa into the office.

Phew, saved in the nick of tine.

"What did you say? You still have done the business proposal?"

Lisa bowed her head in apology.

"I'm sorry. I was busy all day yesterday just by reading the documents."

"Geez.... What are we gonna do now? Rose told me that you are a fast worker."

"I am sorry. I'll turn in the proposal by the end of the day."

"Alright. I'd also like you to come up with ideas for the website design by tomorrow morning."

"Got it!"

That night....

"Ughh."

Its no use. Her brain is fried from writing the proposal. She have zero ideas for the website.. She'll need to check on rival company's webpage for ideas... But she cant. If she look at them now, it will influence her ideas a lot.

Lisa messed her hair, thinking for solution. Previously she never seems to be run out of ideas in her last department. She doesnt really have any interest in imported goods anyway. Who cares about what kind of plate people eat on as long as the food is good right?

Lisa gently slaps herself."No, I cant think like this!"

She needed a break to clear her head.

Ahhhh....the plum brandy is delicious.

That reminded her of the brandy she brew back home. It should be ready by New Year.

Lisa looks at the night view at her balcony and sipped the liqiud.

*Strum...strum*

Thats a guitar sound coming from Kookie's apartment.

It must be nice to love what you do for a living.

She sipped on the plum brandy again as she listen to the music coming from the other side of the partition wall.

She sigh. She had so much fun at work when she was in charge of the imported foods. So many ideas and it was so fun workinh on the recipes.

"I..cant think like this."she uttered.She is being a coward right now. She need to change her attitude. Clear her head.....

The sound of the guitar continues.

It sounded like the same phrase is being repeated over and over again.

She wondered if Kookir wrote the song.

She leaned against the partition and strain to hear it. Good, she can hear it much more clearer now.

Oh no...she felt like she is gonna cry. She cannot help it...the guitar just sounds so bittersweet and sad.

*creak*

Huh...?

*CREEEAAAAKKKKK!!!*

*CRACK CRACK CRACK*

Wait, the partition is.....!

"KYAAAAH!"

*CRASH!*

"Owwwww!"

Lisa looked up as she rubs on her lower back and was greeted by Junkook's cold gaze.

"Um, hey there."

She stares into his eyes but then it daunt her that the partition broke!!!!

"What should i do?"

"Thats my line. What are you gonna do about this?"Kookie asked coldly.

Sweats drips down her back, even colder that his gaze.

She never thought it would break just from leaning on it. Seriously what is she gonna do now!
