TAEYEON'S POV

 “Hon what’s wrong you’re spacing out” 
We were in our hotel room getting ready for the party Young bae organized.
“Ji this party is so sudden I don’t remember any special occasion” 
“It’s because Young bae will propose to Hyorin noona today,” He said while fixing his necktie I can see that he is struggling so I decided to help him
“Let me help you. I said while looking intensely into his eyes “Is that so?”
“Young bae wants us to witness this special day”
“I’m happy for Hyorin unnie I’m sure she’ll be very happy,” I said faking my happiness
“I’m so happy for them too she’s definitely worth the wait” He put his blazer on and hold my hand
“Let’s go”

Everyone is celebrating Youngbae and Hyorin’s engagement. Feeling ecstatic witnessing a happy couple getting engaged.The guys are drinking while the girls are busy chit chat-ting talking about boyfriends, friends, gossiping celebrities and other things girls love to talk about.
My eyes sparkling as my gaze fell on the beautiful ring of Hyorin unnie. I Probably look like a hungry lion wanted to eat its’ prey. “Unnie your ring looks so beautiful really” 
I envy her she’s getting married while me I don’t know, I don’t think Jiyong has a plan for settling down  
 “No more alcohol baby You’re pregnant remember orange juice will do” Jiyong reminded me
“Okay I get it, you don’t have to remind me over and over again” 

Arrrgh I wanted to get married so bad! A lot of crazy thoughts are playing in my head
Could it be he’s preparing for his proposal too. Oh, my God, could it be he will be proposing to me overseas? In Paris? Brazil? The Netherlands? I can’t wait! Will he rent a whole restaurant? Or or or in the cruise oh my God that would be very romantic! Should I propose to him? No no no no! that’s a big NO! I’m not that desperate. What to do? I’m just a girl dreaming of a fairytale wedding like other girls wanted Hmpf! I want to wear a beautiful Vera Wang wedding gown. And a ring too! Like Hyorin unnie’s engagement ring.A drop dead gorgeous diamond ring that will surely fit me. 
All I know is whenever he asks the question I’m more than ready to say “Yes”

 “Excuse Taeyeon I need to go to the restroom” Hyorin unnie said
“Okay unnie no problem”
Jiyong notices that I was alone so he came to me and wrap his hands around my shoulders. He kisses my temple and whispered  “Are you okay? You’re spacing out” 
“I’m fine, just tired I guess” I replied quickly 
“Ji lets go home you seemed drunk”
“Aigoo I really can’t resist you Kim Taeyeon” He drank the alcohol one last shot and stood up and bid his farewell to Youngbae.

We were walking towards the parking lot “Ji give me the keys I’ll drive”
“No, I insist your pregnant”
 “But your drunk”
“I’m sober enough to drive besides I won’t risk the safety of you and our baby ”
“Okay If you say so”
“ Get some rest I know you’re tired. I’ll wake you up once we get there okay” He said kissing my forehead

These past few months watching friends get engaged, watching friends wait to get engaged, talking to married people. looking at my own relationship status, I’ve finally gotten to a place where I’m both clear-headed 
I’m ready for the next level of my life. Jiyong when is our time!

I thought this was the happiest part of my life. Being pregnant with the child of the man I love, living with him, sleeping and waking up beside him. Waiting for him to get home after a long tiring day, but this happiness didn’t last long 
                     Breaking News! Shinee’s Lead Vocalist Kim Jonghyun committed suicide

I drop the phone and started to cry and sob loudly

“Tae-Taeyeon what’s wrong?” concerned filled his eyes “Baby why are you crying? He said cupping both sides of my face 
I hugged him tightly and cried louder on his chest. I just want to let it out. This is so far the most heartbreaking news I ever received.
“Hey hey tell me what’s wrong you’re scaring me” His voice is in panic

That’s the last word I heard until unconsciousness hit me  

Jonghyun has a special place in my heart. He’s been a great friend. He teached me a lot of things. I regret that I didn’t force him to talk to me. I should have told him all the good things about life. I didn’t even notice that behind his smile, his laugh, hiding a hopeless person. 

JIYONG’S POV

Taeyeon lost her consciousness. I immediately rush her to the hospital. She’s very affected by Jonghyun’s death I understand that because they treat each other like siblings, there’s so much closeness between them two. I even get jealous because of him. Even though I don’t know Jonghyun personally It’s inevitable not to feel sad, as a celebrity the pressure is so high adding up the haters. The whole music industry is mourning the death of a great singer and great performer.
