Cho Kyuhyun was a busy man. Musicals, Radio Star, Mamma Mia, Super Junior… both his group and individual schedules were packed. That was something he never expected to happen to him.
His popularity rose from zero to dangerously high levels.
That’s when he got the proposition of his dreams; his first solo album.
Kyuhyun felt overwhelmed and exited.
And that’s how “At Gwanghwamun” came to life.

In all honesty, Kyuhyun was more than just scared, but he wanted this more than anything else. It was his dream coming true. He could finally become the balladeer he always wanted to be.
It wasn’t as if Kyuhyun disliked being a member of Super Junior (he loved the group and being part of it; it was his second family), but becoming a ballad singer was his dream from his teenage years and he could finally realize it.

Everything happened last minute. SM after all, wasn’t expecting to gain much out of it.
But surprisingly enough, “At Gwanghwamun” got an all-kill, won on award shows and became an instant hit.
Kyuhyun felt overwhelmed by the love he received. The fans had accepted his solo album and for Kyuhyun this was equal to them accepting his dream.

“The maknae is on a whole other league… ” Heechul joked, making Kyuhyun blush.
“Yah— Don’t try to act all cute, you little devil… Getting all shy and cute…” Heechul feigned annoyance.
And Kyuhyun laughed out loud, a huge smile lighting his face.
“Thanks, hyung, for the support!”
Heechul simply smiled.

Challenges are scary, but achieving your dream is the best emotion one could ever feel.
