//Just a typical day in school. It’s been at least 3 weeks since Aron has confessed. Since then, they had not spoken more than 2 sentences to each other. Zena mind has been full of Aron ever since that happen. She couldn’t seem to concentrate and is so out of her usual self for very long. Sitting in class, while lesson was still going on. As usual, Zena is lost in her own thoughts. She was snap out of it when Jr hit her on the head.//

*Whispering to each other*

Zena: Ouch!

Jr: What’s wrong with you? You have been so out of yourself lately and it’s getting worst and worst.

Zena: I just have a lot on my mind.

Jr: Ain’t you going to tell your best friend who is just right here, what is going on?

Zena: Well, Remember the day we made up.

Jr: Ya

Zena: Aron confessed to me. And ever since then he has been ignoring and avoiding me.

Jr: Of course, he would be. He wouldn’t want to be hearing your rejection.

Zena: But I don’t know how I feel.

Jr: Okay. So, what’s on your mind lately?

Zena: Like I’m just having a mental break down. I have no idea what to do. Aron is not talking to me anymore and it feels so weird. It kind of hurts that he is drifting apart from me, I feel like I don’t know him anymore. Everything is just in a mess.

Jr: You need to stop think so much. And think how you really feel about Aron.

Zena: How am I going to do that.

Jr: How about you try to forget about him. Take a few days off, away from him. And do things that you like, distract yourself with stuff. If you still can’t help but think about him. Highly, you have already like him more than a friend.

Zena: When should I do it?

Jr: Tomorrow? It’s a Saturday anyway. Just go for a short trip, for about 3 days? I could help you call in sick on Monday.

Zena: But where should I go?

Jr: Anywhere but here and somewhere you know he would go. And don’t let him know where you’re going, so he won’t go and find you.

Zena: I think I know where I should go.

*The next day* At home

Aron: Mom?

Aron’s Mom: Yes?

Aron: Where’s Zennie? She is not in her room and it’s only 9am. She normally sleeps till 12pm on a Saturday.

Aron’s Mom: She says she is going on a trip.

Aron: What? A trip? With who?

Aron’s Mom: I don’t know.

Aron: But you let her go?

Aron’s Mom: Well, she already asked her grandma for permission to go on the trip. I can’t say no to that, since her grandma has already agreed to it. And she tells me she would update me on where she is during the trip, so I don’t have to worry.

Aron: Has she send anything yet?

Aron’s Mom: She has only been out of the house an hour ago Aron. Stop panicking. You act as if you’re her dad.

Aron: How can I not worry. You have no idea where she is going and who is she with. What if she gets kidnap.

Aron’s Mom: Aron, you’re over reacting. It’s not as if you’ll lose her, she only going on a trip for 3 days.  And aren’t you guys fighting.

Aron: We’re not.

Aron’s Mom: But it doesn’t seem like it. You have been avoiding her haven’t you. And you guys haven been talking for quite a while now. What’s wrong.

Aron: Nothing is wrong. Don’t ask.

Aron’s Mom: Are you blushing? Aron?!

Aron: Fine, I confessed to her. But I regretted after that, so I avoid her to prevent myself from hearing her answer. Because I don’t want to be rejected.

Aron’s Mom: My boy has grown up. I’m glad that you finally found someone you like. But I didn’t raise you to run away and avoid situations.

Aron: I know.

Aron’s Mom: You just got to man it up alright. Mum believes in you. Go get her, even if she rejects you. Don’t give up on someone you truly love.

Aron: Thanks Mom. I appreciate it.

*3 days later*

Zena Pov

(I guess I finally know my answer. It was a great choice to take a break out of the city. And get to spend time with my grandparents finally after more than 2 years. I should go back put all my things home first, before heading to school to find Jr.)

//Zena headed back to school to find Jr after putting her stuff back at home. Since, it was after school already, all the students were getting out of school. And the school was mostly empty. Zena headed to their classroom but only to find Aron and a girl. A girl who might be their senior. She decided to stay outside of the classroom to hear what was going on.//

Girl: Aron do you have a girl friend now?

Aron: No.

Girl: How about dating me? I’ve like you for a long time now. You don’t have to answer me now. Just think about it. Don’t answer me now.

Aron: Alright, I’ll think about it.

(What is Aron thinking? What would he have to think about? Does he not like me anymore? Seriously? I really don’t know you anymore Aron.) //Walking away from the classroom, calling Jr//

*At the park*

//Both Zena and Jr were sitting on the play ground swing. Enjoying the nice breeze and blue sky, while talking.//

Jr: So, you finally found the answer you’ve been looking for?

Zena: Yes. But I guess it’s too late now.

Jr: What do you mean?

Zena: Before I actually found you in school, I saw a senior confessing to Aron. And his reply was, he would consider and think about it. I think he gave up on me.

Jr: The only way to find out is by asking the actual person.

Zena: I don’t think I could face him again. And I’m not prepared.

Jr: Well, you better be.

Zena: What do you mean?

Jr: I think Aron saw us when we were going out of school. He texted me asking where we are.

Zena: And you told him?

Jr: Well, sorry. You guys have to talk it out eventually.

Zena: JR!

//Just then Aron came running here.//

Aron: JR! ZENNIE!

Jr: Good luck. I’m off. //Telling Zena.// I’ll be going off now Aron. Bye.

Aron: So soon? Okay bye.

//Looking at Jr at first, then back to Zena after when Jr was gone. He proceed to sit at the swing that Jr was sitting before. The atmosphere was awkward and quiet. Until Aron broke the silence.//

Aron: So, where did you go?

Zena: Grandparents house.

Aron: Ahh… So, you went back to see them. It’s great did you have fun?

Zena: Yup.

Aron: //He was trying hard to think of something to say. Because he wanted to keep the atmosphere less awkward then it was. Especially it has been a long time since they actually spoke more than 2 sentences to each other.// So, someone confessed to me today.

Zena: Great.

Aron: Great? //He actually shocked to hear that.//

Zena: Ya. It a good thing. Isn’t it.

Aron: I guess you could say that… //He was kind of disappointed by her responds. Even though he didn’t know how would she react.//

Zena: So, Aron’s finally got a girlfriend. I guess I should find one soon as well.

Aron: We’re not together yet.

Zena: Why not? I bet she’s pretty and nice.

Aron: I guess you could say that.

Zena: Then go for it. What are you waiting for?

Aron: You really want me to date her?

Zena: Why are you asking me. It’s your choice. Well, I guess I’ll go now. //Standing up from the swing walking away.//

Aron: //Getting up from the swing. Grabs Zena hand to prevent her from walking any further. Pulling her to face him. He place both his hands on each side of her shoulder to prevent her from running away.// You really don’t know why am I asking you?

Zena: No, I don’t Aron. //Trying to remove his hands from her shoulder but he was grabbing it tightly.//

Aron: Do you really want me to date her? //Looking at Zena in the eyes. As if pleading her to say No.//

Zena: Don’t ask me.

Aron: I want to ask you! Of course, I want to ask you. You’re the one that I love. And I would do anything for you, if it makes you happy.

Zena: //Stunned at how Aron was reacting. Because he wasn’t the type to lose his cool, unlike Baek Ho.//

Aron: Do you really want me to date her, Zena? Should I? //Look at her straight in her eyes, desperately looking for an answer.//

Zena: No.

Aron: What? //His eyes widen looking at her. Shocked from hearing her answer.//

Zena: No, I don’t want you to date her Aron. You should not date her. What do I really mean to you? After confessing to me, you ignored me and avoided me. As if you don’t want to have anything to do with me anymore. And now after a senior confess to you, you come back to me, asking me to help you decide? Aron, serious what am I to you? //Eyes starting to slowly filled with tears.//

Aron: //Shocked at how she was going to cry. Because this is the first time he saw her like this. He never saw her weak side, something that she hides from everyone even him. Too shocked to even say anything, he pulled her close to him hugging her tightly. Wishing all her pain would be gone.// I’m sorry. You mean the world to me Zena. I never meant to hurt you. I was just scared that you would reject my confession. I just didn’t dare to face it. But I really do love you. Please don’t cry. What’s wrong. Tell me. Are you hurting.

Zena: It hurts. //Sobbing on Aron’s shoulder.//

Aron: Where are you hurting from?! //Shocked from her respond. He broke the hug, checking her all around. Finding where she could be hurt from.//

Zena: Here. //Pointing at her heart.//

Aron: What? Why?

Zena: You!

Aron: Me?! What did I do?

Zena: You hurt me. You say you like me, but you could ignore me for almost a month. And when I wanted to tell you that I like you back. I heard you say, you would consider the confession from that senior.

Aron: SILLY! I ONLY LOVE YOU ZENA. I LOVE YOU! YOU’RE THE ONLY ONE I LOVE. I WAS NEVER GOING TO ACCEPT THAT CONFESSION. I COULD ONLY LOVE YOU. //Pulling her back hugging her.//

But, wait! I didn’t say that the confession was made by a senior. You saw it didn’t you. Wait. That’s means you’re jealous ain’t you.

Zena: //Breaking off the hug. Was actually surprise on how quick he caught on things. Face was blushing, but trying to hide it.// NO! Who said I was jealous? Me? Hahaha Never in my entire life.

Aron: You’re really bad at lying as always. You should see the look on your face when you say it. Plus, your face and ear are all red.

Zena: I don’t know what you’re talking about. //Trying to run away, but was pulled back by Aron. And was trap in his arms. With both of his hands hugging her waist preventing her from getting away from him.//

Aron: You’re not getting away from me my angel. I want to see your blushing face. It’s such a rare opportunity.

Zena: I’M NOT BLUSHING!

Aron: Whatever you say angel. //Peck a kiss on her lips. Making Zena stun, covering her lips with both her hands in reflexed, even though it’s too late. Making Aron laugh at her cuteness. Which was only making him place more kisses. Kissing her on her forehead, then cheeks lastly her nose.// You’re cute.

Zena: Stop it…….

Aron: You don’t like it?

Zena: No, but….. we’re outside.

Aron: So, I could kiss you all I want when we’re back home instead?

Zena: What?! NO! //Running away//

Aron: Don’t run! You are already hurt, by falling from heaven here. I don’t want you to be hurt again, my angel.

Zena: OMG ARON! STOP WITH YOUR PICK-UP LINES!

Aron: I caught you! //Hugging her// Don’t run away from me again alright. I missed you so much.

Zena: I missed you too.

Aron: How about movie night tonight?

Zena: That sounds nice.

Aron: It is. It been a long time since we did that. Snuggling and cuddling with snacks. //Placing a kiss on the top on her head.// Let’s go get all your favourite snacks before going home my angel.
