Hebe’s POV

GREAT! JUST GREAT! IT’S THE WEDDING DAY AND I’M SO NOT READY! I HATE GETTING MARRIED NOW, AND I HATE BEING WITH A GUY WHO THINKS HE’S EVERYTHING!!

“I hear wedding bells!!!” I heard my mom said happily as she tried to get me up from my bed.

“And? I don’t hear any, so it’s probably not my wedding bells or my wedding mother.” I said in an unhappy voice. I am so unhappy with what I’m going to go through right now.

Everything !

“Hey, hurry up and get dress. I can’t believe that you are getting married before me!!” Genie startled as I glared at her. “Shut up Genie.” I told her like what she used to tell me.

“Awww, my sweet loving sister, don’t get mad. At least you guys didn’t break up. You guys are getting married!” Genie told me with a HAPPY smile on her face.

“I don’t care if it’s a break up or wedding. Just don’t talk about it to me.” I told her coldly as I was entering in my room.

“Ok.” Genie answered.

Aaron’s POV

“Son! Wake up! Don’t you hear wedding bells like your dad and I do?” My mom asked as she was waking me up from bed. I don’t want to wake up, because I don’t want to get MARRIED!!

“Wedding bells? I hear no darn bells mama. Let me sleep some more!” I told her as I pulled the blanket back to cover me. “Aaron Wu Geng Lin Yan Ya Lun! Get your up and get ready! It’s your wedding!” My mom shouted as I fell off my bed. “Okay, okay, I’m up,” I replied as I stood up and stretched my arms and went to the bathroom.

---30 minutes later---

“Wow, you look good my man! Love your wedding tux!” Jiro commented. “I hate it!” I told Jiro as I lowered my head and sighed heavily. “Don’t hate it, LOVE IT!” Jiro told me with a big smile.

“Shut up Jiro, you don’t know what I’m going through here.” I told Jiro angrily as I looked away with a very unhappy look on my face. “Ok. Geeze. HAHA!! But then remember, you have to put on a BRIGHT smile!” Jiro said trying to cheer me up.

“Alright already, I know.” I told him in a tiring voice as I tried to smile.

“Well, chop chop my man! Let’s go!” Jiro told me as he was walking with me to the car. “Come on Aaron, we got to get there early.” My mom told me as she pushed me to the car. I miss Rainie and I don’t want to go at all.

Hebe’s POV

(Calling Calvin)

-----BUZZ….. (Chu Shen Ru Hua ringtone)…BUZZZ…-----

“Hello?” Calvin answered. “Hey! Remember to come to my wedding. It’s about in 1 hour.” I told him as I tried to sound happy. “What? Your wedding is today?” Calvin said in shockness.

“What? You don’t remember your own best friend’s wedding?” I asked him in surprise with a shocked face.

“HAHA!! I’m just kidding. I’ll be there alright. Ella and I are still getting dressed.” Calvin said as he laughed loudly joking with me earlier.

“HAHA! You got me scared for a minute. But ok!” *click* I smiled and Genie started to laugh at me. “What?” I asked confusingly. “Nothing,” She answered as she giggled.

Then I saw Selina coming into my dressing room from my mirror reflection. I pushed away the lady holding the brush and I ran to give Selina a hug.

“Selina! Oh my, I’m so scared; nervous actually. Please tell me it’s a dream.” I told Selina. And *OUCH!

“Why’d you pinch me for?” I asked while in pain. “Well, you asked if you were dreaming, and NOPE, you weren’t. It’s for real!” She said with a smile on her face.

“Haha! You’re funny Sel.” I told her as I smiled. “See, you’re actually smiling again.” Genie told me with a smile. “Well, at least my friend is here to support me.” I told her the –duh- look on my face.

---BUZZZ...(Michael Wong’s Fairy Tale ringtone)..BUZZ..---

“Hello?” I answered my cell phone.

“Hey Heebs! It’s me! Danson! I don’t know how to tell you this, but I don’t know where to come in and sit. Where do the bride’s family and friend’s side sit at?” Danson asked as I laughed loudly.

HAHA!! Danson is such a big dummy.

“Danson, when you see my parents, then sit on that side okay! I’m still in the dressing room. HAHA!!” I told him while laughing. “HAHA!! Okie dokes!” Then he hung up.

*SIGHS*

I’m so nervous. I don’t know what to do at all. I just wish I cannot be so shaky!

“Okay, your make up and hair is done. You may go when it’s time.” The make-up ladies said as they walked out. “Ok. Thanks ladies.” I thanked them as they were walking out.

“Oh Sel, I was crying all night yesterday because I can’t go out there and marry Aaron Yan! It’s horrible!” I told Selina as I dropped into her arms with a broken smile.

“Heebs, you just got to live with it. That’s how life is.” Selina said as she tried comforting me.

“I know, but how can I just marry him out of the blue?” I asked her.

“Well, Hebe,-“

*knock* *knock*

Who can that be at the door?

“Heebs! It’s me, let me in.” It’s Calvin’s voice. “Coming! Open the door Sel.” I told Selina.

(Opens the door)

“Wow! You look beautiful Hebe. Better than prom,” Calvin told me with a smile as I giggled and blushed a bit. “Oh hush up Cal.” I told him with a smile. Then I ran to give him a hug.

"Well, I'm here, and your about to be someone's wife." Calvin told me while looking a little bit down. He looked so upset when he said that. I mean, what’s wrong with him?

"Cal, what's wrong?" I asked him as I looked at him.

"Oh nothing, I just can't believe my best friend is getting married before me!" Calvin looked up while laughing. I smiled too, but then suspense something isn’t right. Something tells me that Calvin is lying, but I don’t know wat it is.

"Calvin, stop joking around. But then I can't believe I am getting married before Genie." I said while giving Genie the why-me look at me. "What? I didn't do anything, and besides, you should be happy!" Genie then walked out of the dressing room after she said that.

"Well, I think I should be going too. I'll see you later when you walk down the aisle." Calvin told me with a bright smile. "Alright," I answered him.

Aaron's POV

I wonder why the groom can't see the bride before the wedding. "Jiro, do you know why the groom can't see the bride before the wedding?" I asked Jiro like he’ll know. "HA! How should I know, I ain’t married yet." Jiro told me as he laughed.

"Haha! You're funny Jiro." I told him while laughing as I was right. He wouldn’t know. "Exactly, I'm here to make you laugh!" Jiro told me. "Yea, but I don’t know if I'll be happy when I get married." I said unhappily as I sighed.

"Oh will you stop whining. You will have a wonderful time." Jiro told me. "Yea, I think I might just boss her around." I said as I started to imagine about it.

(Going to imagination)

"Clean this HEBE!"

"Yes sir."

HAHAH!! This is so fun!!

"I am going out tonight, and don’t wait for me!"

"Where will you be going?" Hebe asked with a doggy face.

"Oh don't give me that face. I won’t be home until very late. So just don’t wait!"

I yelled at her.

(back from imagination)

HAHAHHA!! THIS WILL BE SUPER FUN!!

"Dude! Are you ok?" Jiro asked while waving his hand in my face. "Yea, I'm alright, I was just thinking only." I told him as I came back from senses and was giggling.

Calvin's POV

(Taking a seat at the bride aisle)

Gosh, my best friend's getting married, and I'm here sitting here to see her get married to a man she doesn't even love at all. I can't believe I have been so stupid not to see her been there for me all this time.

When I want to confess my love to her, she's already getting married. I am so stupid and DUMB!

(Hearing the announcement)

"Thank you and welcome for coming to the marriage between Aaron Yan and Hebe Tian's marriage. It's an honor to have all of you here. Now the bride will walk down the aisle now."

Great, here she comes.

Hebe POV

Omg, I am so scared. So nervous!

"Ready hun?" My dad asked me. "Yea, I'm ready dad." I answered him nervously. "Okay, take my arm dear, and when you reach to Aaron, you will be part of the Yans now." My dad told me as I wanted to make the run for it.

"Ok dad." I answered him.

I then took his arm, and we started to walk when the door opened.

(Hebe entered the room, and heard the wedding song, but Ai Me was playing in the background as she had wondered off thinking in her world.)

Even though I am walking down this aisle, I have a chance to run right? I really don't want to get married and it’s not too late. Hehe.

Oh lord, I see Aaron staring at me. Why is he looking at me? I am smiling already, is he trying to just be a man standing there? I wonder what he's thinking.

The door has now opened, and I see Hebe walking down the aisle and boy does she look beautiful.

I wished that was Rainie still. I really miss Rainie.
Maybe when I kiss Hebe, I'll just think to myself that Hebe is Rainie.

Okay, I am in front of Aaron now and the preacher is talking.

"Will you Aaron Yan, take miss Hebe Tian as your lawfully beloved wife?" Aaron looked at me, and said, "I do."

What a lie! I know he wants to reject! Why didn’t you reject?

"Miss Hebe Tian, will you take Aaron Yan as your lawfully beloved husband?"

don’t want to say it, but for my parents sake, "I do."

"Well then, you may kiss the bride." The preacher said as Aaron looked at me and I looked at him.

"Ok, let's get it over with," he whispered to me. I nodded with agreement as I took a deep breath. How great right? My first kiss is at my wedding.

He then pulled me close to him and our lips meet. That was MY first kiss right there. I can't believe it! He’s actually the man who took my kiss!? Oh man, I feel no sparks or charm at all. First kiss are bull.

When we kissed, everyone cheered so happily.

Aaron's POV

Ok, Hebe's in front of me now and the preacher is talking.

"Will you Aaron Yan, take miss Hebe Tian as your lawfully beloved wife?" I turned to Hebe, and I looked her deeply in the eye and said, "I do." I can't believe I said that!

Was I half asleep?

"Miss Hebe Tian, will you take Aaron Yan as your lawfully beloved husband?" She is like taking forever to say it. It's such two simple words and she’s taking forever! "I do." She finally answered. Geeze it took her years to answer. I thought she’d reject or something.

"Well then, you may kiss the bride." The preacher told me as I nodded.

I looked at Hebe, and whispered to her, "Ok, let's get it over with." I saw her nod with agreement as she took a deep breath.

I then pulled her close and our lips meet. I tried to think of Rainie. I tried to replace Rainie’s picture on Hebe, but then I only saw Hebe. Why only Hebe? Also, what’s this I feel? Spark? Charm? I’ve never felt anything like this with Rainie when we first kissed or kissed at all.

After the kiss everyone cheered so happily. It was just one kiss, so what's there to be happy about? I am so unhappy to have been married to the one I am not in love with.

When I heard Hebe said "I do" I felt a thunder just struck into my heart.

I can't stand this.

(Stepped outside)

Why am I crying? This is her wedding. I should be happy for her right? I mean, she is my best friend after all. I am supposed to see her in a happy married life now. I am supposed to support her and be really happy for her.

(In middle school)

"Hi! My name is Hebe Tian and I'm pretty much new here. Want to be friends?"

"Hey! I am Calvin Chen, and sure we can be friends. I don't have many friends anyways."

(In high school)

"Calvin you dummy, where do you think you're going without me?" Hebe asked wondering where the angry Calvin was going.

"I am going some where far away from here, because I hate you! I don't want to see you anymore!" Calvin answered as Hebe got upset and stop following him.

"Uhmm Calvin?" Hebe called out to him.

"What? You hate me don’t you?" Calvin asked Hebe as he turned to face her.

"No. I don’t you hate you Calvin; I am your best friend. Want to be friends again?" Hebe asked as she smiled looking at him.

"Ok, I forgive you." Calvin said as he hugged her.

"This is our first fight in our Freshman year." Calvin said as Hebe sighed.

"I know Cal, no more fights again." Hebe said as she wrapped one arm around him.

"Okay,” Calvin answered.

(Senior Ball)

"Hey Heebs, you look beautiful." Calvin said as Hebe giggled and blushed.

"Oh, stop joking Cal. You look handsome yourself." Hebe told him as she smiled.

"Haha! Well, we should get going now." Calvin said as he smiled.

(As a secretary)

"Heebs! I want my coffee done right!" Calvin shouted out to her.

"Fine Cal! I'm coming with it!" Hebe shouted back as she was working on the coffee.

"Ok Heebs, thanks. You're the best!" Calvin said as he smiled.

"I know right? HAHA!!" Hebe replied laughing.

"HAHA!!" They both laughed together.
