The Secret Life of Boys

Description

Ong Seongwoo is sure that it was his greatest decision to move in with a bunch of talented kids who he can rely on. On the other hand, the expectation vs reality sure is a so Ong Seongwoo is thinking back on his greatest mistake to house with a bunch of idiots, weirdos, mentally-aged-5, and freaks.

(in which everyone is trying to survive either college or high school in the same house, or in this case, the big mansion)

Foreword

"Hi my name is Kwak Aron, I'm the only one normal around here so if you have any questions regarding the living expenses or those stupid s, might as well call me. I'll be out from home most of the time due to my busy schedule so the second man in charge are either Jisung or Jonghyun. If you're wondering who Jisung is, he is the guy who looks like the middle aged ahjumma next door and will always sit next to the water dispenser at approximately 7 pm every single day. Jonghyun, well, is always in his room watching anime so you'll probably have it easier to find Jonghyun. By the way, this is the map to the house. As you can see, there are a lot of boys residing in the same building so having a roommate is inevitable and there will be more than 12 bedrooms in this house alone. Quite surprising, I know. Hence for the next few days or weeks, do not lose your map or you'll get lost."

Seongwoo gulps as he inspects the map.

"In here we have the private library and study room that can be occupied by 6 person at the same time, a laundry room on the far end of this floor, an empty room for healing or sometimes the yoga room or whatever you would like to use it for because someone had snucked in musical instruments for the last few days and I don't really care at this point, a pantry as you can see right next to the kitchen, a useless dining area that the others use as meeting room, a spacious living room to fit those other kids because we sometimes have movie marathon together, somehow there are a game room that they invented on the third floor, and then there's the attic and basement that you should stay away from because... we have a reason for that and I'm not telling you. Okay, moving on. On this floor, we have 3 bedrooms while there are 4 on the second floor and another 3 on the third floor. Each bedroom has a toilet so don't worry of sharing the washroom with too many people. Currently your room is on the second floor, the first door from the staircase. If you have any problems with the bed arrangements or roommate fights, it's fine, we have 11 others for you to try and get comfortable with. Each floor has it's own wifi modem but they all use the same password so wherever you go, you're covered. Last but not least, the rules. There will be no physical fights with the housemates, no killing or hurting the housemates, no stealing stuff from housemates and everyone must go with their assigned weekly task accordingly."

Yes, Seongwoo had read the rules and regulations from this place before he arrived in Seoul. Each person is obligated to be responsible for a task like grocery shopping or cleaning duty according to schedules. It was an easy term, Seongwoo had spent his entire life following rules and learn to be the good boy everyone wants him to be. Sure he can handle those. In fact, this place has the least condition among other student hostel and dormitory.

“One more thing. We allow the kids to bring their pets but if you have any allergies please let us know and we'll try to figure things out. You will meet everyone, yes, every single 21 of them. On your first day to school, your roommates will show you around the campus. Any other questions?"

Aron smiles easily, eyes blinking as Seongwoo stood there speechless.

"Do you do this a lot? I mean, the introducing part?"

"I've been repeating the same thing to almost half of South Korea population. I memorize it by heart."  Aron's smile never falters and now his bright aura is truly hurting Seongwoo's eyes.

"Are you gonna live here too?"

"Yes, to make sure none of you will ruin or try to burn the house down, I need to be on guard. Even though I have graduated, I still work nearby so don't worry about me."

Seongwoo nods, hand tightening around the handle to his suitcase. He looks around the place for the umpteenth time, eyes marveling at the high ceilings and modern minimalistic design to the huge mansion. Well, what can go wrong with living with a bunch of guys?

"If that's all, I would like to formally welcome you to the house of Zero Base . Ong Seonwoo, glad you can join us."
