United [HIATUS]
Description
Two kingdoms face hard times. One faces the tradegy of the untimely death of their king; killed in battle. The other, still suffering from the aftermath of war several years later.
The two kingdoms tried to think of solutions to their own struggles but would always come up short and any successful solution would run out and be short-lived.
A couple years pass and both kingdoms still suffer, until one day. The king and queen of the Eastern kingdom and the queen of the Western kingdom negociate a deal that for three or four months out of the year their two children will meet. The daughter of the queen of the Western kingdom and the son of the king and queen of the Eastern kingdom will be brought together and hopefully, one day, fall in love and unite their kingdoms.
Foreword
"Madisen, come along," Sophia, the queen of the Western kingdom and Madisen's mother, speaks firmly to the eight year old.
"Coming," she obeys her mother's command. "Where are we going mama?" her curious side becoming evident as they continue walking to the gardens located at the front of their extravagant home.
"We are metting with the king and queen of the Eastern kingdom; we are meeting their son today," the queen explains. "They'll be arriving shortly."
"What are their names?" the young and curious princess continues asking her mother questions.
"King Hwon, Queen Haesoo, and their son Prince Hyunjin," the queen answers.
"Why are we meeting them?" the young grl asks yet another question.
The queen sighs but answers her daughter's questions anyway, and truthfully. "One day you will marry young prince Hyunjin and unite our kingdoms."
The queen had a strong feeling that her eight year old daughter would not completely understand her words one hundred percent. "Okay," Madisen shrugs in response and smiles up at her mother. The queen was right; Madisen didn't quite understand but years later, she definitely will.
