I pretended that I did not hear and continue to lie on my bed.

My bedroom door cracked open. “Miss Jung?” Moonbyul’s cute voice resounded as if making music.

Can she sing?

If she can, her voice will be pretty se*y.

What am I thinking about…

The side of my bed was pressed down due to the weight of her. She pat on my elbow softly murmuring again but this time louder, “Miss Jung?”

“Krystal?” she pat me again.

 “Krystal-ish?” She got bolder. But I decided to ignore her still.

“Soojung~ah” she chirped and brushed my lossen hair off my face to my left ear.

The skin interaction from her soft touch made my eyebrows twitched in surprise, the chills sending gushes of shiver down my spine and my heart fluttered, with blood gushed to my face, making my face crimson.

“Are you not well?” She continued her mono-dialogue. A baby skin hand rested on my forehead.

I cant take it anymore.

“What do you think you are doing? In my bedroom, on my bed and your hand…” I threw her a murderous look and yanked her hand away from me.

“Dont you ever touch me you WRETCH!” I burst out the last word 10 times louder.

“WHAT!” Her almond brown eyes widened at my insult.

“Am I not right? Your father used despicable method trying to get a loan from my family by forcing me to marry into your family!”

Soojung, you are doing a great job! Keep it up. But wae I felt my heart is feeling sorry for her. She is a victim as well.

The anger in her eyes diminished, she looked away and played with her fingers, “You are partly right. We would like to borrow money from your family to save our business and having you to join our family using our grandfather’s will. BUT, we are working things out right? We are trying to see if this works out by having us building relationships through this staying together. If it is really not possible, we will not force you.”

She turned around and served me a plate of salad. “Here is the snack I made. Please help yourself while I go cook our dinner.”

My heart throbbed seeing her down casted face.
