REFLECTION: The Story of Nora & Joon
Description
"So, when two cliché characters collide doesn't that create a new story? A story that can't possibly be predicable or expected?" She asked suddenly.
Twenty-year-old Nora Jackson has it all, looks, wealth, and the adoration of many. Yet it's not enough, and it can't compensate for the turmoil and uncertainty of her home life. She has no idea what she wants to do with her future when everyone else seems to have it all figured out already. She aimlessly attends classes and throws herself into parties, alcohol, drugs and meaningless just to feel; something.
Twenty-three-year-old Joon Kim has always been told what he was to become. Do good in school, get the best grades, become a doctor or lawyer. No other choices. But his soul feels like it's slowly dying. He has the mind of a poet and a dream to share his music with the world. However, his dream has no place in the plans his parents have set forth.
The two strike up an unlikely friendship that is intense and unexplainable right from the start.
Nora begins to rely on Joon a little too much, almost obsessively, like he's her new choice of drug to escape all her pain. While Joon is inspired even more to go after what he has always wanted for himself, but that means leaving Nora behind; and he's begun to need her just as much as she needs him.
A new series about first loves, dreams, and the uncertainty of aimless twenty-somethings.
